      IN THE NAME OF GOD, Amen. I WILLIAM SANDERS being very sick & weak of body but in perfect health of mind & memory. thanks be to Almighty God for the same. do make constitute & ordain this my Last Will & Testament i n man ner form following; And first I give & bequeath my Soul to Almighty God my Creator and my body to the earth to be decently buryed at the discrecon of my Exrs. hereafter menconed: And for what worldly goods it hath pleased God to bless me with my will is that they be disposed of in manner & form following,
      Imprs. I give & bequeath unto my Son. JOHN SANDERS, the land &Plantacon on which I now live to him & his heirs lawfully begotten of his body and for default of such heirs to my next rightful heirs for ever; I likewise give him what goods or houshold stuff of any kind what ever that he hath already received from me:
      Item. I give & bequeath unto my Son. PHILLIP SANDERS. the Eighty acres of land I last purchased of JAMES TAYLOR to him & his heirs lawfully begotten of his body & for default of such heirs to my next rightfully heirs for ever
      Item I give & bequeath to my two sons. WILLIAM and JAMES. all the rest of my land not before bequested to be equally divided between them, only my Son, JAMES, to have the place now called the New Plantacon into his part to them & their heirs lawfully begotten of their bodies for ever; and for default of such heirs to my next rightfull heirs for ever:
      Item. I give & bequeath unto my welbeloved Wife, ELIZA: SANDERS, the choice of my feather beds with the furniture thereunto belonging;
      Item. I give my Daughter, MARY SANDERS, the next choice of my feather beds & furniture thereunto belonging,
      Item. I give my Daughter, URSULA SANDERS, a feather bed & the furniture thereunto belonging
      Item. It is my will that the rest of my Estate of any kind what ever be equally divided between my Wife. ELIZA: SANDERS, and her Children, And it is my Will that my Children do remain & stay with their Mother dureing the time that she shall remain a Widdow, And whereas I have hereby given the remaining part of my Estate to be equally divided between my Wife & her Children, It is provided that they pay over & above to my two youngest Daughters, ELIZA: & SARAH SANDERS. five hundred pounds of tobacco a peice at the age of eighteen years or day of Marriage.
      Item I do appoint my welbeloved Wife, ELIZA: SANDERS, and my Son, JOHN SANDERS, my Exrs. and my Friend, Mr. THOMAS ASBURY, Executor in Trust to see this my last Will & Testament well & truely performed. In Wittness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & affixed my seal this 31th day of March Anno Dmi: one thousand seven hundred twenty six

Will), and she having made Oath thereto and being proved by the Oaths of JOHN STURMAN & JOHN COCKERILL, two of the wittnesses thereto, is admitted to Record. And upon the mocon of the said ELIZABETH, and her performing what is usual in such cases, Certificate is granted her for obtaining a Probate thereof in due for Test THO: SORRELL, Cl.

      THIS INDENTURE made the 25 day of May in the Eleventh year of the reign of our Soveraign Lord King George of Great Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the faith &c,. Anno Dmi, 1724 Between JAMES TAYLOR of the Parish of Cople in County of Westmoreland of one part and WILLIAM SANDERS of the same County & Parish of the other part: Witnesseth that whereas JOHN BARTON of the County & Parish above menconed did by a Deed of Gift give unto JAMES TAYLOR SENR, & MARGRETT his Wife. dureing their lives Forty acres of land and after their decease given to JAMES TAYLOR, JUNR., Son of the said JAMES TAYLOR & MARGRETT his Wife; Wittnesseth that the abovesaid JOHN BARTON did by his Last Will and Testament in writeing bearing date the twenty eighth day of February 1697, and duely proved in the County Court, give & devise unto JAMES TAYLOR, JUNR. one hundred acres of Land, it being part of a Pattent granted to JOHN BARTON for two hundred acres of land, bearing date the third day of October 1694. Now these Presents wittnesseth that JAMES TAYLOR, JUNR, in consideracon of the sum of Four thousand pounds of good sound tobacco in cask to him in hand already paid by WILLIAM SANDERS, party to these presents, the receipt whereof JAMES TAYLOR doth hereby acknowledge, by these presents doth bargain and sell unto WILLIAM SANDERS his heires Eighty acres of land being the land which was given to said JAMES TAYLOR by the Deed of Guift and by the Last Will and Testament of JOHN BARTON, To have and to hold the eighty acres of land together with all the right & interest of the land of JOHN BARTON and houses orchards profitts and comodities to WILLIAM SANDER his heires without the molestacon of JAMES TAYLOR or any other person claiming under him; And JAMES TAYLOR doth hereby bind & oblidge himself his heires to warrant & defend the lands to WM. SANDERS his heirs from the claim of any person: In Witness whereof the said JAMES TAYLOR hath hereunto set his hand & affixed his seal the day & year above written

Defender of the faith &., And in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty four, Between JOHN COCKERELL of the Parish of Cople in County of Westmorland, Planter, of one part and THOMAS COCKERELL of the same Parish and County, Son and Heir of JOHN COCKERELL, of the other part; Witnesseth that JOHN COCKERELL in consideration of the natural love and affection which he hath and beareth unto his Son, THOMAS COCKERELL and also in consideration of Five shillings by THOMAS COCKERELL to JOHN COCKERELL in hand paid, hath and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto THOMAS COCKERELL his heirs all that parcell of land where said THOMAS now lives containing Fifty acres being the moiety of one hundred acres of Land purchased by JOHN COCKERELL of WM: LORD, and HENRY NEAL,and conveyed to him by Deed bearing date (film scratched) in the year of our Lord 1721, and all houses orchards profits and appurtenances to the plantation and tract of land belonging; To have and to hold the plantation and tract of land with appurtenances unto THOMAS COCKERELL his heirs to the only proper use of THOMAS COCKERELL his heirs; In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above written
