His will made April 10,1773 probated April 13,1773 Will Book 2 pages 459-460 was witnessed by Benjamin Carter and Eizabeth Carter. On Nov.23,1775 John Sleet brother to Weedon McCawley Sleet was appointed guardian of James and Weedon Sleet, orphans of Weedon Sleet. Benjamin Finnell was appointed guardian of Lucy,Martha and Sarah daughters of Weedon Sleet. Sarah Carter Sleet married second Benjamin Finnell.
