Thomas Dorey's final Account. Mar 16, 1779_
The account of Heneritta Thompson, administratrix of Thomas Dorey, late of CC deceased.
Debts include: the inventory of the deceased's estate, exhibited into Orphan Court on July 11, 1778, money in the house included, totaling 29 £9 shillings 7-1/2 pence; tobacco left by the deceased; tobacco received of Daniel Barron; money received of John Hanson Jr. The whole amount: 180 £2 shillings 1/4 pence.
Disbursements went to William Smoot for rent, John Hurd and William Smoot for getting the crop ready, finding one hogshead, carrying to the warehouse, and finding mail; Walter Hanson, Register, for letters and for recording inventory and for stating, passing, and recording this account. Estate overpaid deducted: 76 £16 shillings 5 pence.
Final Account: 180 £2 shillings 0 pence.
On Mar 16, 1779, proved by Henritta Thompson, the accountant above mentioned.

Richard Boarman's Will.
I, Richard Boarman of CC, planter, am sick of body but of sound and perfect memory.
To my wife Mary Ann Boarman (so long as she remains in her widowhood) - all that tract of land whereon I now live; after that I want Raphael Thompson to take possession of sd land and pay to Joseph Boarman & John Baptist Boarman, son of Raphael Boarman, 193 £each. I also give my wife one third of my personal estate before any of my debts be paid or any legacies be paid. Also, I give my wife 1 bay horse and saddle, bought of Robert Cakley. Also a woman's hunting saddle and bridle. Also a large looking glass.
To my Godson James Neale, son of James - 1 Negro boy, Joe. To Sherath Boarman, daughter of Raphael Boarman - a Negro girl, Sarah.
I give 50 £currency towards the building or refidising a Chapel in Cob Neck. Likewise a Guinea to the Priest that buries me.
To my niece Henerita Simms - a Negro girl Bet, and after her
death, to go to her son Richard Thompson Seemes. To my nephew John Baptist Thompson - 1 dark gray horse called golly(?) Massy Hansons Sealins(?).
To Metilda Boarman, daughter to John Boarman - Negro girl Charity; if she dies without issue, to go to her sister eleonar Boarman.
To my Godson Peter Martindale - 1 cow.
To John Milton & Peter Martindale - two facets(?) of my clothes, to be equally divided between them.
Executors: my wife and John Baptist Boarman.

I, Ann Brawner of CC being very weak of body but of perfect sound and disposing mind and memory
To son Joseph Brawner, one small feather bed and furniture.
To son Meredith Brawner, the sum of twenty five pounds current money
To grandson, Lewis Brawner, negro Moses, one feather bed and furniture and the first colt my bay mare brings alive.
To daughter Catharine Brawner, negro Tom, together with all and singular my goods sand chattels, lands, and tenements not heretofore willed during her natural life

Elizabeth Boarman wife of Raphael Boarman, Will, September 25, 1804; May 10, 1806
I, Elizabeth Boarman wife of Raphael Boarman of CC, do by a power to me in that behalf given and reserved by virtue of a certain bonds made and entered into between my present husband on his part and my brother John Baptist Thompson on my part bearing date the twenty seventh day of December, in the year of our Lord, one thousand Eight Hundred and two for giving and disposing of several goods, chatttels and personal estate as mentioned in the said bond and schedule thereto annexed will more fully apprear do give and bequeath as follows Viz;
To brother Raphael Thompson the sum of 50 pounds current money if he should be alive at my death or to his daughter if alive at my death. In case neither are alive at my death, the 50 pounds to be equally divided between by brother John Thompson Baptist and sisters Jane Brooke and Henrietta Simmes.
To nephew Basil Brooke, my horse and bed with all its furniture.
To sister Henrietta Simmes, my riding carriage.
To niece Mary Ann Thompson, daughter of Jno. B. Thompson, the sume of 16 dollars.
To nephew Richard Brooke,Henrietta Brooke, Mary Teresa Thompson, Elizabeth Thompson, Charity Semmes, and Henneritta Semmes, all the remaining part and residue of the estate provided they will pay the Reverend Mother of the monastery in Charles County the sum of 5 pounds current money.
