      IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen JOHN PEN in the County of, Rappa. being sick & weak in body but in perfect memory praised be to God for it do make this my last will and Testament first I bequeath my Soule to Almighty God that gave it me in hopes of a Joyful! resurrection through the merrits of Jesus Christ my re. deemer my body to the ground from whence it was taken As for my temporal Estate which hath pleased God to bestow upon mee I give & bequeath as following first
      I give and bequeath unto ANNE SHARP Daughter of JOHN SHARP my Plantation which I now live on & fifty pounds Sterling money of England.
      I give and bequeath unto JUDITH SHARP the Daughter of JOHN SHARP decd fifty pounds Sterling money of England.
      I give & bequath unto ELIZABETH HARWARE the Daughter of THOMAS HARWARE fifty pounds Sterling money of England the abovesd three fifty pounds & the plantation to be delivered at the day of their marriages by my Executor hereafter named
      I give and bequeath unto EDWARD DRACAS One Cow to be delivered upon demand
      I give & bequeath unto THOMAS COCKER one Cow to be delivered upon demand
      I give & bequeath unto MARY PEYTON one Cow to be delivered upon demand and likewise she the said MARY to be free at my decease for all other my movables Stock Catle & hogs horses & mares & Servants & what else either in Virginia, MARILAND, England or elsewhere I give & bequeath unto my beloved Friend THOMAS HARWARE & his heirs for ever onely he paying my debts which I owe in right to any man And do hereby constitute nominate & ordain my said Freind THOS. HARWARE to be whole & sole Due. of this my last Will &Testament making void all other & this to be my last Will & no other further I give unto THO. TALBUTT the Son of WILLIAM TALBUTT a young Mare about three years old and likewise two Cows to be delivered upon demand and for my land which I have given to ANNE SHARP if it should please God to die without issue I give to my Freind THOMAS HARWARE otherwise to shee & her heirs forever. As witness my hand & Seale this 13th day of January 1676/7
