      IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen, the Last Will & Testamt: of THOM: EDWARDS being sick & weake of body yet thanks be given to Almighty God of sound & p:fect minde & memory, made in manner & forme following. I bequeath my Soul into ye hands of God my maker from whom I reced. it trusting through ye merits of my blessed Redeemer yt: he will freely p:don all my sins & gratiously receive mee into his everlasting Kingdome; and my body to ye Earth from whence it was taken, to receive decent burial! according to ye pleasure of my Executor;
      I give & bequeath unto my loving Freind, DENNIS EYS an hundred acres of Land vch: I bought of JAMES ROBINSON & paid for, wch: was recorded;
      I leave unto THO: ALDWELL a Castor, I leave unto DAVI JENNIS [David Jennings] a great Coat; And all ye rest to THO. MOULD. This is my Last Will & Testarnt. In Witness whereof I have sett my hand & seale this 9th day of March Anno Dom: 1669/70
