TO ALL Now Know ye &c. that I the sd Sr WILLIAM BERKLEY Knt. Governour &c do with the consent of the Coun cell of State accordingly grant unto FRANCIS OVERTON & WILLIAM CHARLTON Four hundred & ten acres being on the South side of RAPPA. RIVER in Rappahanock County aforesd Begining at a marked cor ner white Oak by a slash or Pond side about a mile from the River & backing the land of Mr. DAVID FOX thence runing part of the Leanth by a line of marked trees SW to a marked (missing) Swamp thence NW thourough part of the sd Swamp to a corner marked Gum tree thence againe (missing) to a corner marked red Oak nigh adjoyning to KILLMANs Myles End corner tree on the side or ascent of (missing) by (missing) to a turning red Oak in a Valley thence NE to another Corner red Oak by a (missing) unto the plantacon of the sd KILLMAN thence over a small Runn (missing) marked red Oak on a leavell thence back againe from the hills towards the river (missing) a small Creek behind the land or plantacon of (missing) finally thence NW to the marked tree (missing) sd land being due unto them the sd OVERTON & CHARLTON for the transportation of (missing) persons into this Colony whose names are on the records &c. to hold &c. paying &c Provided &c Given under my hand and the seale of the Colony this 21 day of August 1663 & in the fifteenth year of the Reign of our Lord KING CHARLES the Second
