BOSWELL, JOHN, St. George's Parish, d. Jan. 10, 1740, p. May 5, 1741. Proved on the oath of William Bicknell, who wrote the said will for the said John Boswell. Ex. wife Ann Boswell. Leg. eldest daughter Dorothy; youngest Frances; sons Ransom, George and James Boswell, 980 acres of land to be equally divided among the above named children; my younger children to be educated. I desire that the Court may bind my three eldest sons when they arrive at the age of fifteen years to the following trades, Ransom and John Boswell to a Joyner and Carpenter and George Boswell to a Blacksmith.
