      THIS INDENTURE made the 27th and 27th day of July in the 14th year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Second and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty one Between THOMAS DODSON of the Parish of Hamilton in the County of Prince William Planter of one part & AMIE DODSON the Widow of DAVID DODSON deced of the aforesaid Parish & County of other part Witnesseth that said THOMAS DODSON for the sum of Two thousand pounds of Tobacco doth grant unto said AMIE DODSON in her actual possession now being by vertue of a bargain & Sale for oneyear & by the force of the Statute for transferring uses into possession & to her heirs one parcel of land containing one hundred & twenty seven acres being in the Parish & County aforesaid & being part of a Tract of land containing One thousand one hundred and twenty seven acres and bought by the aforesaid THOMAS DODSON of the REVEREND LAWRENCE DEBUTS granted to the said LAWRENCE DEBUTS by Deed from the PROPRIETERS OFFICE dated the 19th day of October 1727 & is bounded being on the South side of the South Run of BROAD RUN of OCCOQUON & joining to the land of COLO. CARTER the REVEREND DAVID STEWART thence to the South Run aforesaid & the aforesd LAWRENCE DEBUTS other Tract of land and all houses and Appurtenances whatsoever To Have and To Hold unto the said AMIE DODSON her heirs and assignes. In Witness whereof the said partys have set their hands and Seals

      THOMAS DODSON acknowledged this Lease and Release to AMIE DODSON to be his act & deed which is admitted to Record, & ELIZABETH the Wife of said THOMAS DODSON being privately examined relinquished her right of Dower to the Land conveyed by said Deed which is also admitted to Record
