Nov. 1762 - William Allison, aged 13 years the 12th day of March last, an orphan, is by the Court here bound to Godfrey? Brown till he arrives at the age of 21 years. Said Brown is to learn him the trade of a house joyner and to learn him to read, write and cypher as far as the rule of three and when free to give him a decent suit of apparel.

Nov. 1763 - Frederick Co., Md. Court. William Allison, an orphan, was bound to John Ford "to learn the trade of a house carpenter ..... and Ford is to send him a year and a half to school and when free to give him a decent suit of apparel and a set of tools such as is necessary to carry on the trade or mystery of a house carpenter."
