      In the name of God Amen. I MARK FINKS of Culpeper County in the Colony of Virginia being I bless God in perfect sound sense & memory .. do therefore make & ordain this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.
      Imprimis I give & bequeath to my loving Wife ELIZABETH FINKS my bay mare & my horse Buck that I bought at DAVID YAWTERs sale to dispose of as he thinks proper then I give & bequeath to my son MARK FINKS my yellow bay horse named Prince to him & his heirs forever.
      Item I give & bequeath to my son JOHN FINKS my Black horse branded IW o him and his heirs forever.
      Item I give & bequeath to my son ANDREW FINKS my small black horse named Jack to him and his heirs forever.
      Item I give & bequeath to my Daughter MARY FINKS one cow & calf to her and her heirs forever.
      Item I give & bequeath to my daughter HANAH FINKS one Cow and calf to her and her heirs forever.
      Item I give and bequeath to my loving wife Elizabeth Finks all the rest of my Estate both real & personal during her natural life & after her death to be equally divided among all my children (that is to say) CATHARINE CRIGLER, CHRISTIAN BLANKENBEKAR, ELIZABETH WEAVER, MARK FINKS, JOHN FINKS, MARY FINKS, ANDREW FINKS, HANAH FINKS and JAMES FINKS provided also that if my wife Elizabeth Finks rases colt from my bay mare to her bequeathed that she give the said Colt to my son James Finks as a legacy equal to the legacy above givon to my sons Mark John & Andrew Fink , if not that my son James Finks have ten pounds more than the rest of my children out of my estate in order to buy him a horse with & further that my son Mark Finks have my silver seal after my wifes death.
      I constitute and appoint my loving wife Elizabeth Finks and JAMES ARCHER Executrix & Executor
      of this my last Will and Testament in Witness whereof I have hear unto set my hand and seal this
      seventeenth day of October one thousand seven hundred & sixty three signed sealed & acknowledged.

      At a Court held for the County of Culpeper on Thursday 15th day of March 1764 the last Will and Testament of Mark Finks decd was exhibited to the Court by Elizabeth Finks & James Archer the Executors therein named & proved by the oaths of .. witnesses thereto & ordered to be recorded and on the motion of the said Executors Certificate is granted them for obtaining a Probat thereof in due form they having sworn to the same and given Bond & security according to Law
