    • === Contributed by Ralph D. Smith

      Richard Foster's first wife was Ann Jackson (the sister of Thomas Jackson) and she was still living in Feb. 1660/1. The source for this is Maryland Prerogative Court, Testamentary Proceedings, Liber 1C, p. 16, and it is abstracted in Skinner, V. L., Jr., "Abstracts of the Testamentary Proceedings of the Prerogative Court of Maryland," Vol. I, p. 21. I could not find any later records of Ann or pre-1675/6 records of Richard Foster's 2nd wife Sarah to help in the task of attributing Richard Foster's children as between his two wives.

      Feb. 23, 1660/1 - Richard Foster and his wife Ann were granted administration on the estate of her brother Thomas Jackson as next of kin.
