Daughter Sarah Ball-eight negroes Humphries, Davey, Jesse, George9 Isabell, Betty, Letty and Silles and five shillings sterling money and no more of my estate.
To the boy that may be called my son as being born in Wedlock that is said to be born in June 1741 and to be christened Mark Anthony the son of my wife Margarett one shilling sterling and no more of my estate; the reason I have given the boy Mark Anthony no more than one shilling of my estate is because his mother my wife Margarett has absented herself from me about ten years as much from August last past and its about six years since the said Mark Anthony was born, and it is impossible he should be my son; I have not for near these eleven years last past had any carnall knowledge of any kind whatever with my wife Margarett which is said to be the mother of Mark Anthony.
To the two children that my wife Margarett delivered of(as I an informed)in the month of December 1743 and said to be christened Mille and Landon-one shilling sterling money each and no more of my estate, the child that my wife Margarett delivered of(as I an informed)in the month of September 1747 and said to be christened Anna-one shilling sterling money and no more.
Whereas my father Capt. George Ball deceased, in his will gave me the use of six negroes viz: Sam, Fillis, Ben, Humphries, Tom and Rose and their increase to me during my natural life, and to prevent any suit that may arise on account of my being possest of the above negroes before my fathers death, I give all the right I have if any of the said six negroes to my four brothers to be equally divided between them as my father left in his will.
I give a large common Prayer Book to the use of Wiccomoco Church.
After all debts, legacies are paid all my personal estate to be equally divided amongst all my brothers and sisters.
Three brothers David, Richard and Joseph Ball, executors and guardian to my daughter Sarah Ball.
