      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I ANDREW CROSBIE Merchant in Dumfries for my self and Company have appointed my Trusty and well beloved Friend JOHN CORRIE of Virginia Merchant my lawful! Attorney for me in my name to demand sue for receive and recover all sums of money Tobaccoe and other goods whatsoever belonging or due and payable to me land Company whatsoever in Virginia or MARYLAND in America and particularly (without prejudice to the aforesd generality) to receive from the persons after named the Debts after mentioned due by them to me Vizt. from JAMES THOMPSON in St. Mary's County Maryland 6069 pounds of Tobacco for bond; from MARTHA MASON in St. Marys County 1000 pounds of Tobacco per bill; from Doctor THOMAS McWILLIAM in St. Marys County 5616 pounds of Tobacco per Bond which Bonds and Bill are in the hands of Mr. PHILLIP KEY of St. Marys County Maryland or are in St. Marys County Court aforesd and from MARTHA WEELMAN in St. Marys County 1316 pounds of Tobacco giveing and by these presents granting to my said Attorney full power & authority to use all lawfull means for recovery of the aforesaid Debts allowing whatsoever my sd Attorney shall do in the premises.
