Elizabeth Stonestreet, Will, February 27, 1845; April 4, 1848
I, Elizabeth Stonestreet of CC, being sick and weak in body, but of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding;
To Reverend Mr. Courtney, now Catholic pastor of the Lower Zachia Church, 500 dollars
To friend Catharine Middleton of Baltimore City, 100 dollars.
To godson John Donalus(?) Middleton of Baltimore City, 100 dollars.
To niece Mary Catharine Gardiner, my bureau.
To young friend Susan D. Corry, 300 dollars, my bedstand, bed, and furniture, 1 dozen Windsor chairs, 1 rocking chair, 4 coarse diaper towels and 1 wash basin and pitcher. It is my wish that if she should wish to go to the academy kept by the "Sisters of Charity at Emmitsburg for the purpose of education that in that event the legacy of 300 dollars above bequeath to her should be used to pay her expenses.
To nephew Richard H. Gardiner, my trunnell bedstand.
To Reverend Mr. Courtney, 200 dollars to be appropriated to the building of a new Catholic Church on the lower Zachia congregation.
To my sister's husband John F. Gardiner, my gold watch
To my sister Mary Gardiner, wife of John F. Gardiner, my plantation and all my real estate lying in CC during her natural life and after her decease to her children, Mary C. Gardiner, Francis Dominic Gardiner, John Benedict Gardiner and Richard Henry Gardiner.

Benedict Boarman, Will, May 25, 1815; August 24, 1815
I, Benedict Boarman of CC, being sick and weak but of sound mind and memory;
To son Richard Benedict Boarman, two tracts of land lying in St. Mary's County called "Hardship" and Marsh Neck", also negro Vincent.
To son George S. Boarman, tract lying in the neighborhood of St. Joseph's church in St. Mary's County called "St. John's", also negro Matthew.
To three daughters, Elizabeth Boarman, Catharine Boarman and Mary Boarman, all my lands in Charles County consisting of three distinct tracts to be equally divided. Also four negroes, to wit; Winny, Helen, Felix and Jane.
Item: it is my will that in consideration of the lands which I have given to my son George and my three daughters that they nor either of them shall claim any part of the land arising from their mother, which is given to my son Richard as is above bequeathed.
Item: it is my will that my executors shall lay off 50 acres of land adjoining the dwelling lot where my sister Elizabeth Boarman now lives during her single life. Also 200 dollars.
