      IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I NICHOLAS YAGER of County of Culpeper and State of Virginia being weak in body yet of a sound mind & memory do constitute and appoint this my last Will and Testament. My Soul I recommend to Almighty God who gave it me & my body to be buried in a decent manner .... as to my worldly Estate . . .
      Item I lend my loving Wife JEMIMA one half of all my estate both real and personal during her life also the other half during her widowhood or till my daughter MILLINDA should come of age or marries and if the child my wife is now pregnant with should not survive the full one half of my Estate as before made mention of to be to my daughter before named and to her heirs forever and to be left to the discretion of my my Executors to divide all my Estate both real and personal between m Wife & my daughter Millinda & the child my wife is now pregnant with if it should survive after my wifes death I give in equal distribution between my daughter above mentioned & the child my wife is now pregnant with if it should survive that part of my Estate before lent to my wife with the increase if any there should be to them or their heirs for ever.
      I direct my Executors if there should not be money due me sufficient to pay off all my my Just debts the balance should be raised of m crop now depending. I do hereby constitute- & appoint my good Friends ELISHA BERRY, ADAM YAGER & JOHN YAGER Executors of this my last Will and Testament . In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twelfth day of October One thousand seven hundred and ninety two.

      This last Will and Testament of Nicholas Yager decd was exhibited to the Court by Elisha Berry and Adam Yager two of the Executors therein named and was partly proved by the oath of John Smith one of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be certified and at another court held for the said county the 17th day of June 1793 This Will was fully proved by the Oaths of Susannah Yager & Rosanna Yager two of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded And on the motion of them for obtaining a probat in due form they having made oath thereto and given Bond and security according to Law.
