      Charles County Land Records 1786-1790; Liber D#4; Page 7_ Aug 11, 1786 from John Thomas and Mary, his wife, of CC, to George Thomas of St. Mary's County, for 5 shillings, 4 tracts of land in CC, one called Delahays Chance, lying on the north side of Potomack River near to the land formerly laid out for Andrew Wattson, containing about 300 acres. Also one other tract of land called Minges Chance, near the river Potomack, a bound tree of William Pinner, containing about 150 acres. Also, one other tract of land called Little Lynn, near Lynns run, bounded by a tract of land called Lynn, containing about 50 acres. Also, one other parcel of land, being part of a tract of land called Lynn, lying on the north side of Potomack River, beginning on a point near Lawsons Marsh and near Potomack River, containing about 250 acres.
