DUNCAN & JAMES ATTWOOD on the So. West side of the ROAD to two pines on the same side the road another Corner of Attwoods thence N. to a Maple on the So. West of Mill Run thence down the said Run to a bunch of Markd white oaks on the same side Just below the mouth of a small branch thence to the Beginning containing one hundred and seventy acres of land . .       THIS INDENTURE made the 5th day of January one thousand seven hundred & ninety one Between THOMAS BYWATERS and WINEFRED his Wife of County of Culpeper of one part and JOHN ENNEVER of same County of other part; Witnesseth that THOMAS BYWATERS & WINEFRED his Wife in consideration of the sum of Thirty seven pounds, Ten shillings to him in hand paid; by these presents doth bargain and sell unto JOHN ENNEVER his heirs a certain parcel of land in the LITTLE FORK of RAPPAHANNOCK RIVER adjoining the lands of aforesaid JOHN ENNEVER, it being part of a larger tract of land conveyed by JAMES PENDLETON Gentleman & CATHARINE his Wife for One hundred and seventy three acres by estimation by their certain Indentrue of Seventeenth day of March one thousand seven hundred seventy seven to THOMAS BYWATERS SENR, and recorded in County Court of Culpeper, bounded, Begining at four small Chesnut Oaks in a Grub, corner to JOSEPH DUNCAN and JAMES ATWOOD deceased, on the South West side of the Road leading from Culpeper Courthouse to CHESTERS GAP, runing thence North 47 degrees East 113 poles to a bunch of white Oaks marked on the South West side of MILL RUN below the mouth of a small Branch, thence up the meanders of said Run North 5 degrees East 10 poles, North 19 degrees West 12 poles, North 21 degrees East 18 poles, North 30 degrees East 20 poles, North 40 degrees West 22 poles, North 36 degrees East 34 poles, North 36 degrees West 36 poles, North 24 degrees West 12 poles to two black Gums on the East side and a white Oak standing on the South West side of the said MILL RUN, thence South 47 degrees West 130 poles to a Pine, Spanish Oak & red Oak standing on the East side of the aforesaid Road, thence 32 poles South 8 degrees East 104 poles to the begining; containing One hundred acres of land, Together with all houses orchards & appurtenances to the same belonging; and the rents issues & profits thereof; To have & to hold the land and premises with appurtenances unto JOHN ENNE-VER his heirs free and clear from all incumbrances and THOMAS BYWATERS and WINEFRED his Wife doth warrant and defend the land and premises to JOHN ENNEVER his heirs against any person; In Witness whereof the said THOMAS BYWATERS & WINE-FRED his Wife have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written Sign'd Seal'd & Delivered in presence of

      By virtue of the within Writ to us directed, we personally went to the within mentioned WINEFRED and examined her privily and apart from her said Husband, THOMAS (the return of the execution of the privy examination of WINEFRED BYWATERS); Given under our

      BE IT KNOWN unto all persons that we JAMES JETT and JOSEPH DUNCAN of the County of Culpeper do by these presents relinquish all right title and claim to above said One hundred acres of land sold unto JOHN ENNEVER by THOMAS BYWATERS and WINEFRED his Wife for the sum of Thirty seven pounds, Ten shillings, it being part of said THOMAS BYWATERS land granted and made over to us by his Deed bearing date the 9th day of May 1787 and we do discharge the said land & premises so sold unto JOHN ENNEVER his heirs clear from the said Incumbrance so far as it respects that bargain entered into by said BYWATERS & ENNEVER, As Witness our hands & seals this 15th day of January 1791
