Feb. 1, 1740/1 - John Allison leases Lot No. 5 (49 1/2 acres) of His Lordship's Manor of West St. Mary's in St. Mary's Co., Md. The term of the lease is for the lives of Thomas Allison, Joseph Allison and James Allison. In Feb. 1768 the tenant in possession is [John's son] Thomas Allison. In 1768, Thomas Allison is age 39, Joseph Allison is age 30 and James Allison is age 22.

June 1759 - The St. Mary's Co., Md. administration account of William Hebb shows that Hebb's estate made a payment to James Allison.
