      i. Margaret H. Pratt was born ABT 1745. She married Bernard J. Hooe, son of Howson Hooe and Anne Francis Harris. He was born 30 OCT 1739 in King George County, Virginia, and died 28 AUG 1825 in 'Hazel Plain', Prince William County, Virginia.

      ii. Frances Pratt was born 14 SEP 1748. She married William Hooe, son of Howson Hooe and Anne Francis Harris. He was born 9 SEP 1743 in Stafford Co. (King George), Virginia, and died 1809 in 'Pine Hill', Stafford Co. (King George), Virginia.

      iii. Elizabeth Pratt was born 1754. She married John Hipkins. He was born ABT 1754.

      iv. John B. Pratt was born 1761 in Caroline County, Va., and died 1843. He married Alice Fitzhugh, daughter of John Fitzhugh and Alice Eliza Catlett Thornton. She was born 20 FEB 1759 in Stafford County, Virginia, and died 1845.

      v. Susanna Pratt was born ABT 1762. She married William Hooe, son of John Hooe and Anne Fowke. He was born 1758.

      vi. Thomas Pratt was born 28 JUN 1765, and died 1797. He married Jane Brockenbrough 23 JUN 1785, daughter of Austin Brockenbrough and Lucy Champe. She was born 7 FEB 1768 in Westmoreland County, Virginia.

      In the Name of God Amen. I Mary Brock of the County of King George and Parish of Hanover being of perfect sense and memory thanks be to God for the same, do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following.
      Item: I give to my loving daughter Anne Deane Twenty Shillings to buy her a ring.
      Item: I give and bequeath to my granddaughter Anne Deane when she comes to age or marries my Negro girl Isabell to her and her heirs lawfully begotten and for want of such heirs to my grandson Charles Deane and his heirs lawfully begotten.
      Item: I give to my grandson John Deane Twenty Shillings to buy a ring.
      Item: I give to my grandson Charles Deane Twenty Shillings to buy a ring.
      Item: I give to my grandson George Deane when he comes to age Ten Pounds if he lives to that age.
      Item: I give to my good friend Thomas Vivian Twenty Shillings.
      Item: I give all the remaining part of my estate real and personal of what kind soever (and not before given) to my grandson William Deane and his heirs lawfully begotten and for want of such heirs to be equally divided between the surviving children of my daughter Anne Deane to them and their heirs forever.
      And Lastly I do constitute my loving grandson William Deane Executor of this my Last Will & Testament, Revoking all other wills by me made heretofore. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale this 21st day of January 1743.

      The Last Will and Testament of Mary Brock, Deceased, was presented into Court by William Deane her Executor who made oath thereto and the same was proved by the oaths of Thomas Vivion and John Jones and admitted to record.

      Item I give unto my Son THOMAS PRATT and heirs, the following pieces of land to, wit, the Tract of Land wherein my Sister HUNGERFORD lives in the County of King George, the part known by the name of the Forest Quarter & the part called Chapmans, but it is my desire, and I do hereby authorize my Executors to sell & dispose of the said land called Chapman, and to make effectual conveyances in the law for the same, if they can dispose of it for such a price, as they shall think equal to it's value, but if not, in such case I do hereby confirm the devise of the same to my son Thomas ., heirs.
      Item it is my will, that all my Negroes except those already disposed of, be equally divided among all my children, but my intention to makeing the Division of my Negroes is, that my Executors hereafter named keep the whole together in their hands, to be worked upon m several Plantations for the Joint support of my wife & children & the overplus of the profits arising from their crops, to be applied to the payment of my Debts. and that my said Executors make division of my said Negroes as my children shall respectively arrive to the age of 21 years or are married. Still keeping in their hands the proportions of all those that shall be under age & unmarried for their joint Support.
      Item I give unto my two Sons, John Birkett & Thomas Pratt, all my Stocks of every Sort, equally be divided between them, they paying equally to each of my Daughters as they arrive to age, or are married, the sum of 30 pounds.

      I Thomas Vivion of the County of Westmoreland do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form followeth.
      Imprimis, I give and bequeath to my son Charles Vivion my land and plantation lying in King George County on Rappahannock River.
      Item I give and bequeath to my son Francis Vivion the land and plantation whereon I now live together with all my lands in Westmoreland County.
      Item I give to my daughter Jane Vivion that I had with my late wife before marriage the sum of 500 pounds current money of Virginia, to be raised by my executors out of my estate as hereinafter directed, and paid to her on her arriving to the age or date of marriage.
      Item I give to my daughter Mary Vivion the sum of 500 pounds current money of Virginia to be raised by my executors out of my estate as hereinafter directed him paid to her of her arriving to age or day of marriage.
      Item I give to my daughter Jane Vivion Negro girl Lucy with all her increase; I also give her a young horse, saddle and bridle.
      Item I give to my daughter Mary Vivion Negro girl Rachael with all her increase; I also give her a young horse, saddle and bridle.
      Item in case either or both of the Negro girls herein given to my two daughters should died before my daughters come to age or marry my will and desire is that other Negro girls of equal value be allotted to them out of my estate.
      Item my will and desire is that in case either my daughters Jane Vivion and Mary his Vivion should die before they come to age or marry that my other daughters possessed and enjoyed all the estate herein given to the one dying.
      Item by will and desire is that my executors hereafter named receive all the money and that they put the same into good hands with what money I may have by me together with the sales of my household furniture in the yearly profits of my estate and interest, allowing my two daughters Jane Vivion and Mary Vivion to be maintained out of the profits of my lands and Negroes with my two sons until such time as my executors may have raised the sums herein granted to my said to daughters Jane Vivion and Mary Vivion and afterwards I desire that my two daughters be maintained out of the interest of the monies given them.
      Item I give my daughter Frances Brooking a gold ring of the value of 20 shillings.
      Item I give to my daughter Margaret Pratt a gold ring of the value of 20 shillings.
      Item I give to my son Charles Vivion and my son Francis Vivion all and every part of the remainder of my estate of what kind soever, and desire the same may be equally divided between them.
      Item my will and desire is that my two daughters Jane Vivion and Mary Vivion be under the care and direction of Mrs. Elizabeth Jett and Mrs. Dianna Goodloe until they come to age.
      I desire that my estate be not appraised.
      Lastly, I nominate and appoint my friends Thomas Jett, Mr. John Orr, and Mr. Peter Daniel guardians to my two sons Charles Vivion and Frances Vivion until they come to age as also executors of this my last will and testament.

At a court held for the said County the 28th day of April 1761 this will of Thomas Vivion, deceased was presented into Court and sworn by Thomas Jett and Peter Daniel two of the executors therein named, the same being proved by the oath of the witnesses thereto is admitted to record in upon motion of the said executors and their performing what the law in such cases require certificate is granted them for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.

      Pratt & Bunbury to Edrington Indenture
      This indenture made the 28th day of August 1769 between Margaret Pratt and Thomas Bunbury acting executors of Thomas Pratt, deceased of the one part and Daniel Edrington of the Parish of Washington in County of Westmoreland of the other part. Whereas the said Thomas Pratt late of the County of Stafford by his last will and testament duly proved and recorded in the County Court of Stafford did among other things give and devise to his son Thomas Pratt and to his heirs the following pieces of land, to wit; the tract of land whereon his sister Hungerford lived in the County of King George, the tract known by the name of the Forest Quarter, and the tract called Chapman’s, but directed and in his said will did authorize his executors to sell and dispose of the said land called Chapman’s and to make effectual conveyances in the law for the same if they could dispose of it for such a price as they should think equal to its value, but if not in such case, he confirmed the devise of the same to his son Thomas Pratt and of his said will did constitute and appoint the said Margaret Pratt, as long as she should remain a widow, Robert Brooking, Vivion Brooking and the said Thomas Bunbury executors as by the said will; and whereas the said Margaret Pratt still containing soul and the said Thomas Bunbury having alone taken upon themselves of burthen of the execution of the said will and having been offered by the said Daniel Edrington for the said tract of land called Chapman’s the sum of 200 pounds current money which was the best price that could be got for the same in which the said Margaret Pratt and Thomas Bunbury believed to be the full value thereof. This indenture therefore witness that the said Margaret Pratt and Thomas Bunbury for and in consideration of 200 pounds have sold by these presents to Daniel Edrington the said tract of land called Chapman’s containing 300 acres or thereabouts and bounded upon the line of John Price’s land from a post upon the main road and along the said line to the Dam one of the head branches of Upper Machodoc, thence along the said dam to the land of Charles Stuart, and along his line to the main road crossing the same to the old line and from thence to the beginning. In witness whereof the said Margaret Pratt and Thomas Bunbury have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written.
