      This Indenture made 12th December 1771 between ROBERT THROCKMORTON and LUCY his Wife and JAMES BARBOUR JUNR. and FRANCES his Wife of one part and JOHN WAYLAND of other part in consideration of sum Three hundred and sixty pounds hath sold unto John Wayland 530 acres in Culpeper County in the Robertson Fork and on the White Oak Run bounded beginning at a chesnut white oak and a large Rock on the South side the White Oak Run corner to GEORGE SLAUGHTER to two pines the East side of a Mountain to a red oak near Mr. Throckmorton's fence to a Poplar near the Top of a Mountain to the beginning ,.
