Will: Union County, August the twenty ninth, eighteen hundred and twenty three. The last will and testament of Reuben Berry being in a bad state of health but sound in mind, will and desire as followeth
First that the land on which I now live shall belong to my brother Joseph Berry and his sister Mary Berry so long as they live and should one of them live longer than the other, it is my will that the surviving one shall have peaceable possession during his or her life.
2nd It is my --- that everything now --- found or attached there belonging to me shall remain in the possession of my brother Joseph and sister Mary during their lives and if one should live longer than the other it is my will that the surviving shall have it during life.
3rd It is my further will and desire that my brother Joseph Berry and Mary Berry have the full enjoyment of all the property above specified during their lives or the life of either. Signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of Reuben Berry, Gibson B. Taylor, Peter Berry.
At a County Court holden for Union County at the Courthouse in Morganfield on the 16th day of September 1844 This last will and testament of Reuben Berry deceased was produced in Court and proven by the oaths of Gibson B. Taylor and Peter Berry the subscribing witnesses thereto and was by the Court ordered to be recorded which was done accordingly. Att James R. Hughes, Clerk Union County Court.

Reuben and Thornley Berry witnessed the will of Thomas Berry, their uncle (brother of Benjamin) February 20, 1806.

Affadavit: 5-15-1815 An oath concerning the recent slave emancipation law. Berry declares that he has brought slaves from Virginia to Union County, but not for the purpose of speculation.
