      THIS INDENTURE made the Six day of August in the year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and twenty eight, Between HENRY WILLIS of KING and QUEEN County of one part and THOMAS BEALE of County of RICHMOND on the other part; Witnesseth that HENRY WILLIS for sum of five shillings law-full money of Great Brittain to him in hand paid by THOMAS BEALE the receipt whereof he doth acknowledge, hath and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto THOMAS BEALE three thousand three hundred and thirty three acres of land situate on East side the LITTLE MOUNTAINS in the Parish of Saint George and County of Spotsylvania being one third part of ten thousand acres granted unto HENRY WILLIS by Patent bearing date the twenty third day of July one thousand seven hundred and twenty eight, Beginning a four Pines and a white Oak standing in TODD's Line, thence South twenty seven degrees East five hundred and twelve poles to three Pines and a white Oak, thence North fifty degrees East nine hundred forty seven poles to a red Oak on a hill side, thence North twenty seven degrees West five hundred and twelve poles to two white Oaks and a Gum in MATTISON's and CHEW's line, thence South fifty degrees West nine hundred seventy four poles to the beginning place, To have and to hold the land and premises with appurtenances unto THOMAS BEALE his heirs from the day before the date hereof dureing the term of one whole year paying therefore the rent of one ear of Indian Corn at the Feast of Saint Michaell the Archangell only if the same be demanded to the intent that by virtue of these presents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession THOMAS BEALE may be in actuall possession of the premises and be enabled to accept a grant of the inheritance thereof to him and his heirs, In Witness whereof the parties to this present Indenture hath sett his hand and fixt his seal the day and year above written Signed sealed and delivered in presence of

BEALEs line standing by the Main Runn, thence along said BEALEs line S. 33d.
