      p.34. Deed. 26 Sept. 1692. "Johh Waugh of Stafford County in Virginia Clerke" to William Fitzhugh of same County, for 20000 lb tobo, 1090 acres "being in the forest between the North side of Rappahannock River and the South side of Potomack Creek comonly called of known by the name of Whiteheads Plantation and being part of a Devident of Two Thousand acres sold by one Tho: Comer(?) of New Kent Count to me the said John Waugh by lease bearing Date the third of Febuary 1689/90 and by Release 4th of April 1690 and both recorded in the County Court Records of Rappahannock the 4th of June 1690". The 2000 acres being part of a greater tract, by patent 1670, granted to Johna and George Mott and conveyed in fee to Tho Comer. "Part thereof being part of a Plantacon lived upon and seated by one Geo Shepard". Surveyed by George Morris surveyor of Rappa. Co.

      THIS INDENTURE made the 30th: day of August in the yeare of our Lord God 1701 Between THO: BEALL of the County of Richmond Gent., of the one part and WM: COLSTON of the said County, Clerk, of the other part. Witnesseth that the said THO: BEALL for a valuable consideracon to him in hand already paid or secured to be paid by the said WM: COLSTON, hath granted unto the said WM: COLSTON his heirs or assignes one tract or parcel of Land conteyning Six hundred acres scituate & being in the Parish of FARNHAM in the said County of Richmond butting and bounding as followeth (vizt.) Beginning at a small marked red Oake standing on the Northwest side of a branch neere to a white Oake stump close to EDWARD PORTERs fence, from thence extending South West three hundred & eighty polls to a small marked crooked white Oake standing neere the head of a small branch by JOSEPH RUSSELLs Plantacon, thence South East two hundred fifty three polls alonge a line of the said THO: BEALLs, from thence North East three hundred & eighty polls untill it meets with another line of the said THO: BEALLs, thence down the said line two hundred fifty three polls Northwest into the first menconed red Oake at the beginning; the said Six hundred acres of Land being part of a Patent of Fiftccn hundutd acres granted to colnti. YATES in the HICKORY THICKETT line, thence running up the said line until! it meets with the line of Capt. THO: BEALL, so down the branch to MONOCON SWAMP so alonge the said SWAMP untili it meets with the limo of Capt. THOMAS BEALL so down the branch to MONOCON SWAMP &so alonge the said SWAMP until! it meets with the line of the aforesaid WM. YATES, the said Tract of Land being formerly purchased & bought of ANGELL JACOBUS by the said JOSEPH RUSSELL as by a Conveyance thereof bearing date the 30th: day of March Ano: Dom- 1697, may more at large appears: And all houses pro-fitts & appurtinances unto the said Land belonging; To have & to hold the said Fifty acres of Land (be the same more or less) with their & every of their rights unto the said WM: COLSTON his heirs & assignes from hence forth for ever; Subject nevertheless to the Quitrents wch: from hence forth shall grow due to the Chiefe Lord & Lords of the Pr:misses, And the said JOSEPH RUSSELL & JANE his Wife for themselves their heirs &c. do agree that he the said WM.
