A list of 10 Negro slaves, removed from VA into CC by Thomas Mason on Dec 29, 1794, to be employed in working on his lands in Maryland, and not for sale, to wit, John, Jacob, James, Tom, Daphne, Alice and her 4 children, Charles, Jenny, Milly, and Sambo. Signed Jan 21, 1795 - Thomas Mason. Recorded Jan 21, 1795.

      List of 5 negro slaves brought from the Commonwealth of Virginia into the State of Maryland by Thomas Mason on March 11, 1797 to be employed on his land, viz; Will (13 yrs.), Lucy (28 yrs.) and her three children, Milley (10 yrs.), Pompey (4 yrs.) and Cillar (2 yrs.). All which slaves have been resident of Virginia prior to April 21 1783 and were obtained by the said Thomas Mason by his marriage to Sarah Hooe of King George County, Va. Signed on May 1, 1797, Richard Bennett, overseer.
