William Coomes' Sr Will.
I, William Coomes Sr of CC, planter, am in perfect health.
To my son William Coomes - a parcel of land adjoining the land of his deed, from the rowlling path 100 yards in width as his land runs to his beginning tree, thence to Greens Inheritance.
To Joseph Coomes' 2 oldest daughters - 1 cow apiece.
To Richard Coomes - several tracts of land, viz, Coomes Delight, Duncassell Paw thickets enlarged, and all my land between Walter Smith's land and my son William's
land, and 1 Negro boy, Isack.
To Clare Thompson - the use of a tract of land called the addition, during her life, and after her death to be equally divided between her 2 sons.
To my daughter Winifrit Smith - a parcel of land from the end of the meadows to the end of the last line of Coomes hunting place.
To Edward Miles - all my land on the south side of the pond, adjoining his plantation and McFeniss line.
To my daughter Elizabeth Smith - a tract of land called Donde reserved, from her plantation, with McFenises line to the long Pond, and with the pond to her brothers line and with his line and the Rowling road to an ancient path that leads to George Boswell's as far as McFeniss line, and with it to her plantation. Also 1 Negro man called Charles.
To Sarah Greene - the plantation she lives on, and with my fence to the road and with the road to the path that leads to George Boswells, and with McFenises line and as my lands runs to the plantation, during her life; after to be her son Henry's,
To Anna Coomes - 1 Negro girl called Mary.
To Mr. Ignatius Mathews - 1 Negro called Benjamin or a Negro woman and child, to be sold, one half of the money to be given to the poor, the rest for the use he shall think proper,
To my wife - my dwelling plantation and the use of my stock, during her life, and also my Negroes excepting Charles and Isack, and the rest of estate, after my just debts are paid, to be equally divided between William Coomes and Richard Coomes.

I, Joshua Coomes of CC, am bound to Henry Green, Joseph Thompson, & Richard Coomes, of CC, in the sum of 300 £, this Oct 16, 1786, to warrant that I, heir to Wm Coomes, late of CC, decd, convey by deed to sd Henry Green, Joseph Thompson, & Richard Coomes, all the lands bequeathed to Sarah Green, wife of the sd Henry, Clare Thompson, wife of the sd Joseph, & Richard Coomes, by the will of sd William Coomes decd, to them and their heirs forever. Signed - Joshua (X his mark) Coomes. Wit - Bennett Hamilton, Joseph Green Thompson. Recorded Feb 26, 1789.
