HARRIS, JOHN, SR., Prince George's Co, 2 Sept. 1775; 21 Dec. 1776
Son: Benjamin Harris, all my land, being part of a tract of land called "The Ridge" and purchased of a certain John Stoddert by me for two hundred acres, but it is my will and desire that Edy Harris, relict of my son James Harris, may have, hold possess, occupy, and peaceable enjoy during her widowhood all that part of the aforesaid land bequeathed to my son Benjamin above, that lies on the west side of a small branch running from Pomonkey Road through the plantation where my son James Harris formerely lived til it empties into a branch know by the name of Hyne's branch and down the said Hyne's branch till it intersects the land of a certain John Manning, it being the part where she, the said Edy Harris, now lives and possesses, she paying the yearly rents becoming due to the Lord Proprietary for the same. Grandson: John Harris Robey, one Negro man named Sangoe.
Grandson: William Harris, his choice one feather bed, one Rug, one blanket, and a pair of sheets. Daughter: Lydia Steal, one feather bed of new feathers.
Son: Benjamin Harris, all my stock of horses, mares, cattle and hogs, and all my household furniture, except what is otherways disposed of by this will.
Children: {of son} John Harris {decd}, Anne Owen, Elizabeth Wilson, Mary Burch, Eleanor Wedding, and Sarah Robey, five shillings current money each.

Inventory of the goods and chattels of Thomas Owen, late of CC, decd. Includes: Negro fellow Sam (about 25 years old), Negro wenches Priss (about 26) and Sarah (16), Negro girls Rachel (age 13), Anne (12), Mime (10), Linder (8), Negro boy Ben (about 2 years old); 5 horses, 20 cattle, 11 sheep, 100 hogs; wearing apparel, 5 beds and furniture, 1 copper still, 1 crosscut saw, 46 barrels of corn, 1344 lbs of bacon, 69 lbs of beef, 1 Testament, a parcel of old books, 1 man's saddle, 136 lbs of fat; 1 tract of land, 81 acres called all I could get; 1 tract of land, 13 acres, called the Mill Tract; 1 tract of 128 acres called Owens Content, and water mill on it; 1 tract of 80 acres called Owens Venture, good improvements thereon; cash, 20 £6 shillings 6 pence.
