LYSER to have ALLGOOD's Estate
Whereas JOHN LYSER who marryed the Executrix of EDWARD ALLGOOD, deceased, complained to this Court that [haveing buryed his said Wife, the said Decedent's Executrix] he had taken care ever since her death for her Children and their Estates devised to them by their deceased Father's Will and prayed that he might have the management of the said Estates untill they come to yeares; it is ordered that the said LYSER take the Estates and Children into his custody giveing security to be accomptable for the same and exhibit an Inventory thereof to the next Court

Northumberland County Court April 20, 1687
Ordered that ELIZABETH the Orphan of EDWARD ALGOOD late of this County deceased Serve Mr. CHRISTOPHER NEALE until she attain the age of eighteen years or the day of marriage which shall first happen. The said Mr. NEALE having in Court Engaged to teach or cause her to be taught to read and sew and give her good and necessary Education.

Northumberland County Court April 20, 1687
Ordered that JOHN and RICHARD (The orphans of EDWARD) ALGOOD late of this County deceased Serve PETER FLYNT or his heirs until they attain the age of one and twenty years, during which term the said PETER do engage himself his heirs etc. to teach or cause them to be taught to read the bible through and likewise to do his best endeavor to teach them a carpenter's trade, also that the said FLYNT have their Estates in his custody during the aforesaid term, always provided that the use of the plantation redound to the good of the said JOHN elder brother of the said Orphan, and at the expiration of the said term the said FLYNT is to return their stock in kind.

Northumberland County Court April 21, 1697
JOHN and RICHARD ALGOOD, Orphans of EDWARD ALGOOD deceased, having been formerly bound apprentices by the Court to serve PETER FLYNT and his heirs until they should attain the age of twenty one years, having petitioned this Court for their freedom the said PETER FLYNT being deceased, the Court are of Opinion the word "heirs" mentioned in the said order vests a property to Mr. RICHARD FLYNT Executor of the said deceased and do therefore order that they serve the said Executor the said term, he complying with such engagements as are appropriated to the said deceased.
