      This Indenture made 21st June 1770 between JAMES LILLARD and KEZIAH his Wife of County of Culpeper, Parish of Brumfield and WILLIAM LUCAS of same ., in consideration of sum of Fifteen pounds current money of Virginia have granted unto William Lucas 100 acres in Culpeper County, Brumfield Parish in the great fork of Rappahannock River and bounded Beginning at two red oaks, corner to THOMAS JOHNSON and runs to three pines in a ridge corner to WARNER WASHINGTON Esqr.

      THIS INDENTURE made 15 March 1773 Between JAMES LILLARD & KEZIAH his Wife of County of Culpeper and Parish of Brumfield of one part and JOHN GRAVES of County aforesaid Witnesseth that said James Lillard and Keziah his Wife for sum Thirty pounds current money of Virginia have granted unto the said John Graves his heirs 137 acres of land in Culpeper County & Brumfield Parish in the Great Fork of the Rappahannock River the same being a tract granted to James Lillard by the Right Honourable THOMAS LORD FAIRFAX Proprietor of the Northern Neck of Virginia by Deed from the Proprietors Office 3rd June 1760 as by said Deed may appear bounded Beginning at a chesnut in a line of the Survey made by DICK near the North side of the South Fork of the Broken Back River thence with his line North West about 8 poles beyond said Dick's Corner thence leaving his line to the North Fork of said River continued over said River to a chesnut amongst a parcel of Rocks on the South side the Fork Mountain thence South East to a chesnut Oak on the South side of the Mountain in a line of LAURENCE BRADLY thence with his line South to a Chesnut Oak on the North side of the Main Broken Back River in the said line thence up the said River with a line of WILLIAM WHITEs South West to the Beginning place . . .       THIS INDENTURE made the 21st of June 1779 Betwen JAMES LILLARD of the County of Culpeper & KEZIAH his Wife of one part and JOHN BROWN of the said County Witnesseth that for the sum Fifty five pounds current money of Virginia to him paid by the said John Brown doth hereby acknowledge and do grant unto the said John Brown land on the Hughs River in the said County containing One hundred and Fifteen acres and bounded Begining at two Chesnut oaks on the side of a Mountain JOHN GRAVES Corner &runing thence with his line North to the Flu ghs River and twelve poles farther to a small hickory in the said Graves line thence leaving his line North to a chesnut on a point of a Mountain thence South to a chesnut oak on a Stoney point and twenty two poles farther near the top of the Mountain on the falling grounds of the Hughs River & thence South to the begining James LiIlard
