      THIS INDENTURE made the 26th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & Eighty six Between JOHN WAYLAND & GODFREY YAGER, Executors of the Last Will and Testament of ADAM WAYLAND deced., and MORTON CHRISTOPHER and (blank) his Wife of the one part and JOHN HUFFMAN of the other part; Witnesseth that whereas ADAM WAYLAND in his last Will and Testament devised his lands in equal portion to all his Children, ELIZABETH, Wife to MORTON CHRISTOPHER, being one of them, Now for and in consideration of the sum of fifty five pounds by these presents doth bargain sell & confirm unto said HUFFMAN his heirs all that dividend of Land containing by estimation forty two acres be the same more or less lying in County of Culpeper on MUDDY RUN, a branch of the ROBERSON RIVER, on thereof the East side and bounded; Begining at 2 Pines in JOHN HUFFMANs line, thence with sd. line No. eighty two degrees East one hundred & thirteen poles to three Pines corner to sd. HUFFMAN, thence South six degrees East fifty eight poles to two saplins, corner to ANDY: JOHNSTON, thence with his line South eighty four degrees West one hundred twenty poles to a Stone in the Plantation, thence the true course to the begining, Together with all buildings orchards profits commodities & appurtenances to the same belonging, also all right title claim or demand whatsoever of the sd. MORTON CHRISTOPHER & ELIZABETH his Wife to the same; To have and to hold the sd. Forty two acres of land lying and bounded as above with its appurtenances forever; In Witness whereof the parties have interchangeably set their hands and seals the year & date as above written

      The Commonwealth of Virginia to WM. CHAPMAN, HENRY HILL & WM. WALKER. Gentlemen Greeting; Whereas MORTON CHRISTOPHER and ELIZABETH his Wife by their certain Indenture of Feofment bearing date the 26th day of Jany. 1786 have sold and conveyed unto JOHN HUFFMAN of Culpeper County 42 acres of land, And whereas the sd. ELIZABETH cannot conveniently travel to our County Court of Culpeper to make acknowledgement of the sd. conveyance; (the Commission for the privy Examination of ELIZABETH, the Wife of MORTON CHRISTOPHER); Witness JOHN JAMESON Clerk of our said Court at the Courthouse of the sd. County the 26th day of January 1786 and in the tenth year of the Commonwealth JOHN JAMESON
      By Virtue of the within Commission to us directed, we did personally go to the within named ELIZABETH, Wife to MORTON CHRISTOPHER and did examine her (the return of the Execution of the privy Examination of ELIZABETH CHRISTOPHER); Certified under our hands &
