      THIS INDENTURE made the xix day of August in year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Eighty between JOHN FORREST and MARY FORREST his Wife of County of Culpeper of one part and CHURCHWELL BLAKEY of County aforesaid of other part Witnesseth that JOHN FORREST and MARY his Wife hath bargained and Swapt one certain tract of land lying on the WHITSTONE RUN containing seventy nine acres more or less for a certain tract of land known by the name of the TIRMAN [Tureman] TRACT containing Two hundred acres more or less the said JOHN FORREST and MARY his Wife by these presents do bargain Swap and confirm unto CHURCHWELL BLAKEY his heirs and assigns forever all that tract of land containing seventy nine acres be the same more or less lying in Parish of Brumfield and County aforesaid, it being part of a tract of land granted by Patent to THOMAS STANTON deceased which hath been conveyed to JOHN FORREST before named Beginning at two white Oaks & Hickory at the THURAFAIR thence North twenty five degrees East forty seven poles to three red Oaks, thence North twenty degrees East seventy poles to two red Oaks and a Chesnut tree, thence North sixty seven degrees West One hundred and seventy eight poles to the said Road, Corner to two red Oaks in a line of JONATHAN COWHERDs, thence the several courses of the Road to the beginning Togather with all houses gardens orchards and appurtenances whatsoever to the same belonging To have and to hold the tract of land with the appurtenances unto CHURCHWELL BLAKEY his heirs and assigns forever In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto set their hands and Seals the day and year above written

      THIS INDENTURE made this 16th day of August in year of our Christ One thousand seven hundred and Eighty Between JOHN BLAKEY and JEAN his Wife of County of Culpeper and Colony of Virginia of one part and CHURCHWELL BLAKEY of the County and Colony aforesaid of other part Witnesseth that JOHN BLAKEY and JEAN his Wife for sum of Five pounds current money of Virginia to them in hand paid by these presents both give and confirm unto CHURCHWELL BLAKEY his heirs and assigns for ever two certain tracts of land joining and binding on each other lying in County and Colony aforesaid the first which is bounded beginning at a Hickory red Oak and Gum on a Branch, Corner to THOMAS STANTON, thence South forty seven degrees West One hundred and ten poles near a Bunch of Apple Trees joining the other Tract (Course and Distance hereinafter Inserted) then South sixty five degrees East seventy eight poles to the foot of a Mountain (Corner cut down) thence South seven and half degrees West One hundred and thirty poles Corner THOMAS SAMPSON line thence South eighty four degrees East twenty six poles to a red Oak then North fifty five degrees East thirty five poles to two red Oaks and white Oak corner thence twenty two degrees East One hundred and fifty poles to two Hickory and a red Oak, thence South seventy four degrees East One hundred and thirty four poles to a Popular and a Chesnut Oak in a line of VINTONs Land, thence North ten degrees West two hundred and eighty poles to four Chesnuts in WILLIAM BOOTENs line, thence North seventy nine degrees West eight poles to two red Oaks and a Hickory, thence South twenty four degrees West One hundred and ninety two poles to the beginning containing Three hundred and forty five acres; the other Tract above mentioned beginning at two white Oaks in WILLIAM KIRTLEY line on the North side of the Road to FORISTER line with his line to two red Oaks and one white Oak on the side of a Mountain, thence North Twenty five degrees East forty four poles to two red Oaks and one white Oak, thence North two hundred and thirty two poles to a Pine and a Chesnut Oak on the end of the PINEY MOUNTAIN, then South fifty four degrees West two hundred and ninety one poles to the beginning To-gather with all profits commodities and appurtenances to the tracts of land belonging To have and to hold unto CHURCHWELL BLAKEY his heirs and assigns forever In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have Interchangably set their hands and Seals the day and date first above written
