      THIS INDENTURE made XIX day of August in year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Eighty Between JOHN BLACKEY [Blakey] and JEAN BLACKEY his Wife of Culpaper County of one part and JOHN FORREST of County aforesaid of ye other part Witnesseth that ye sd JOHN BLACKEY and JEAN his Wife hath bargained Swopt one certain tract of land containing Two hundred acres more or less lying in Parish of Brumfield and County aforesaid on the end of GERMAN RIDGE and is part of a Patent granted to WM. EDDINS and by said EDDINS transferred to ROBERT BOHANNAN as by Deeds the xxv day of May MDCCXXXVIII and ROBERT BOHANNAN by his Last Will and Testament Impowered his Wife, BIRTHIBO BOHANNAN,. Executrix, to sell the said land and accordingly transferred the said land to ROBERT TIRMAN [Tureman] and he by his Last Will and Testament deviled it to his Son, GEORGE TIRMAN and the said land was transferred by Deed from said TIRMAN to JOHN BLAKEY and the said JOHN BLAKEY and JEAN his Wife do hereby acknowledge and do bargain and Swap and confirm unto JOHN FOREST his heirs and assigns forever all that tract of land containing two hundred acres more or less bounded beginning at a Corner Pine of JOHN EDDINS on top of a Mountain, thence North forty four degrees East eighty eight pole to a Chesnut Oak on the said of said Mountain, thence N. forty on D. (EA----) thirty poles to two chesnut Oaks thence North fifty degrees East twenty six pole to a red Oak on Top of said Mountain, thence North twenty five degrees East twenty eight pole to a white Oak thence North Twelve degrees East thirty poles to a Chesnut Oak, thence North Twenty seven degrees East forty pole to a red Oak & two white Oaks, thence South sixty eight degrees East One hundred & sixty pole to a Pine and Chesnut Oak by a great Stone on side of a Mountain, thence South twenty eight & half degrees West Two hundred and twelve poles to two white Oaks and a Pine in a line that was JOHN EDDINS thence with that line North sixty eight degrees West One hundred and sixteen pole to a Spanish Oak, Corner to JOHN EDDINS, thence with another of his lines South eighty five degrees West to the beginning Togather with all houses orchards and appurtenances whatsoever to the same belonging To have and to hold unto said JOHN FOREST his heirs and assigns the parties to these presents have hereunto set their hands and Seals the day and year above written

      THIS INDENTURE made this 16th day of August in year of our Christ One thousand seven hundred and Eighty Between JOHN BLAKEY and JEAN his Wife of County of Culpeper and Colony of Virginia of one part and CHURCHWELL BLAKEY of the County and Colony aforesaid of other part Witnesseth that JOHN BLAKEY and JEAN his Wife for sum of Five pounds current money of Virginia to them in hand paid by these presents both give and confirm unto CHURCHWELL BLAKEY his heirs and assigns for ever two certain tracts of land joining and binding on each other lying in County and Colony aforesaid the first which is bounded beginning at a Hickory red Oak and Gum on a Branch, Corner to THOMAS STANTON, thence South forty seven degrees West One hundred and ten poles near a Bunch of Apple Trees joining the other Tract (Course and Distance hereinafter Inserted) then South sixty five degrees East seventy eight poles to the foot of a Mountain (Corner cut down) thence South seven and half degrees West One hundred and thirty poles Corner THOMAS SAMPSON line thence South eighty four degrees East twenty six poles to a red Oak then North fifty five degrees East thirty five poles to two red Oaks and white Oak corner thence twenty two degrees East One hundred and fifty poles to two Hickory and a red Oak, thence South seventy four degrees East One hundred and thirty four poles to a Popular and a Chesnut Oak in a line of VINTONs Land, thence North ten degrees West two hundred and eighty poles to four Chesnuts in WILLIAM BOOTENs line, thence North seventy nine degrees West eight poles to two red Oaks and a Hickory, thence South twenty four degrees West One hundred and ninety two poles to the beginning containing Three hundred and forty five acres; the other Tract above mentioned beginning at two white Oaks in WILLIAM KIRTLEY line on the North side of the Road to FORISTER line with his line to two red Oaks and one white Oak on the side of a Mountain, thence North Twenty five degrees East forty four poles to two red Oaks and one white Oak, thence North two hundred and thirty two poles to a Pine and a Chesnut Oak on the end of the PINEY MOUNTAIN, then South fifty four degrees West two hundred and ninety one poles to the beginning To-gather with all profits commodities and appurtenances to the tracts of land belonging To have and to hold unto CHURCHWELL BLAKEY his heirs and assigns forever In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have Interchangably set their hands and Seals the day and date first above written

      THIS INDENTURE made the xix day of Augustin year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Eighty Between JOHN BLAKEY and JEAN his Wife of County of Culpeper of one part and ALEXANDER GARREL of County aforesaid of other part Witnesseth that JOHN BLAKEY and JEAN his Wife for sum of One hundred pounds current money of Virginia to them in hand paid by these presents doth bargain and sell unto ALEXANDER GARREL his heirs and assigns one certain tract of land lying in Parish of Brumfield and in County of Culpeper lying on the GERMAN RIDGE and bounded Beginning at a Hickory red Oak & white Oak Corner made by said BLAKEY and GARREL in line of the TIRMAN TRACT of land now belonging to JOHN FORREST and thence the several Courses of the line of the said Land sold by said BLAKEY to GARRET, joining and binding on VINTONs land and also binding on WILLIAM BOTINS line to a Corner consisting of four Chesnut, thence North seventy nine degrees West eighty poles, thence the several courses of the said line to Corner made by said BLAKEY and GARREL in said line consisting of two red Oaks Gum on the South side of the GERMAN RIDGE near CROWSUITs ROAD thence the several courses of a Dividing line made by said BLAKEY and GARREL to a Corner on the Run at the foot of PINEY MOUNTAIN consisting of two Chesnut Oaks and a Maple, thence the several courses of the said to the corner made in the said TIRMANs line Togather with all profits commodites and appurtenances to the said tract of land belonging To have and to hold unto ALEXANDER GARRET, his heirs and assigns forever freely and clearly discharged of all Judgments and Executions whatsoever the parties to these presents hath hereunto set their hands and Seals the day year above written
