      1st Item my desire is that my Funeral and just debts first be paid.
      2d I give to my well beloved friend JOHN BARROW my whole Estate real and personal Except the legacies hereinafter mentioned.

      This last Will and Testament of William Kelly was Exhibited to the Court by Robert Green Gent. one of the Exors therein named & was proved by the oath of William Lightfoot & Joseph Norman witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded, tne said Executor at the same time refused to take upon himself the burthen of the Executon thereof.
      And at a Court held for the County of Culpeper on Thursday the 16th of October 1760
      On the motion of John Barrow one of the Executors in the Will mentioned Certificate is granted him for obtaining a Probat thereof who have sworn to the same & given bond & security according to

      In the hopes of a Blessed Resurrection I MOSES GREEN of Culpeper County being sick and weak but in my proper sences do think fitt to settle my wordly afters. first I give my soul to my Mercefull Savour and Gloures Redimer Jesus Christ. My will as foloweth that all my lafull Debts shall be payd. Itm that my beloved wife MAREY GREEN have a third part of all my estate, personal & Reall at hir owne disposer I give to my beloved Mother ELONAR GREEN a hundred pounds that all the rest of my Estate both Personall and Reall be dived between SARAH GREEN and ELONAR GREEN JUNOER and the Infiant wich my beloved wife Marey Green is now with child.       This last Will and Testament of Moses Green decd was exhibited to the Court by Robert Green Gent. one of the Executors therein named and was proved by the Oath of William Robertson & Elizabeth Brown two of the witnesses thereto & ordered to be recorded And on his motion Certificate is granted him for obtaining a Probat thereof in due form he having sworn to the same & given bond and security as the Law directs, Liberty being reserved for the other Executors in the said Will mentioned to join in the Probat when they shall think fit.

      IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I ELEANOR GREEN's of the Parish of St. Mark and County of Culpeper in the state of Virginia being aged and infirm but of sound mind and memory as usual Thanks be to Almighty God for that blessing calling to mind the uncertainty of this life do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following to wit, Principally and first of all I do with all humility and contrition for my past offences recommena my soul to almighty God who gave it my body I bequeath to Earth from whence it came therein to be decently Interred at the discretion of my Executors and as for my worldly goods & effects I dispose of in the manner and form following.
      1st It is my desire that my funeral Expences and just debts be first satisfyed and paid. 2ndly I give and bequeath to my Son ROBERT GREEN to him his heirs forever all my part of the land which myself and other plaintiffs are at Law for with the Late LORD FAIRFAX and other Defts on Shenando River and the waters thereof when the said Land shall be recovered together with all damages which may hereafter be recovered as all money that may hereafter appear to be due from the other parties from any sales that they may have made and covented the money to their use as also all other advantage or advantages that may hereafter appear to be due or arrise from the said lands I give and bequeath likewise to my aforesaid Son Robert Green his heirs & assigns forever.
      3dly I give and bequeath to my aforesaid son Robert Green all the stock of Hogs that I may be possest of at the time of my death likewise all kind of crops that I may then have in the ground and unfurnished to him my said son Robert his heirs & assigns forever.
      4thly I give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter ELEANOR DUFF my riding mare also my side saddle Mourning Ring describing the time of my Son DUFF GREENs death.
      5thly I give and bequeath to my three sons now living Viz. ROBERT GREEN, JOHN GREEN & JAMES GREEN all the remaining part of my Estate to be equally divided among them their heirs and assigns forever.
      6thly And Lastly I do hereby appoint my three sons Robert Green, John Green & James Green Executors of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand affixed my seal this nineteenth day of May in the year of our Lord 1794

      This Last Will and Testament of Eleanor Green decd was exhibited to the Court and was partly proved by the Oath of John Strode one of the Witnesses thereto & ordered to be certified and at a Court held for the said County the 20th day of January 1794 This Will was fully proved by the oath of Isaac Herrin another witness thereto & ordered to be recorded. And at a Court held for said County the 17th day of February 1794 James Green one of the Executors therein named in this Will came into Court & on his motion Certificate is granted him for obtaining a probat thereof in due form he having made oath thereto & given bond & security according to Law; Liberty being reserved for the other Executors named in this Will to qualify when they may think fit.

Item I give to my Daughter MARGARET BALL lfive negros by name .. . . & a feather bed & furniture & a Mear Fille & her colt and my horse Batcheller & if in case my son William should die without heir then I give Four hundred acres of land which is already bounded to my Daughter Margaret Ball & her chayce of two negros belonging to her Brother's part & the rest to be Equilly divided amongst the three sisters
      Item I give to my Daughter JUDITH HACKLEY two negros by name & two hundred & sixty acres of land .. in case her Brother should die as aforesaid & the other part of the land if it should happen with her Brother & I give her more is because she has had her part already,
      Item I give to my Son William Ball all my Estate that is not mentioned already ..
      Item I give to JAMES POLLARD five acres of land bounded thus Beginning att a Spanish oak the South side Brooks Run along close by the run Westward to a red oak thence along the old line northward up the branch to a wite oak thence Southward to the Beginning more or less Item I do appoint my son William Ball & my two sons in Law JOHN HACKLEY and ROBERT GREEN to be whole & sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament In witness whereof .. this sixteen day of August 1751.

Entailed by uncle, William Duff, so that if son William died without leaving a male issue lawfully begotten, property descends to brother, Duff Green. Dau. to be educated. Sister-in-law, Miss Elizabeth Coleman, a mourning ring.

      THIS INDENTURE made the Fifteenth and Sixteenth day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and fifty One Between TULLY CHOICE & ANN his Wife of the County of LOUISA of one part and WILLIAM GREEN & ROBERT GREEN of the County of CULPEPER of other part Witnesseth that said TULLY CHOICE & ANN his Wife for the sum of Twenty pounds Current money of Virginia have sold unto the said WILLIAM GREEN and ROBERT GREEN (in their actual possession by virtue of an Indenture of Bargain and Sale for one year and by force of the Statute for transferring uses into possession ) and their heirs one certain parcel of land lying on TIN POT RUN in the County of Prince William containing about Three hundred & Fifty Eight acres of land it being the Remainder of a larger tract of land containing by Deed from the PROPRIETORS OFFICE granted to WM. DUFF deced for Five hundred and Fifty eight acres the said Deed bearing date the 25th day of May 1727; Two hundred part of the said Five hundred & Fifty eight acres was bequeathed by the last Will and Testament of the said WM.       For seven years, or during the life of any person whom Daniel Duvall shall think fit.:

      THIS INDENTURE made this 27th day of July in year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred & Eighty four Between ANTHONY GARNETT, ROBERT GREEN, WILLIAM BALL, JAMES SLAUGHTER, JAMES PENDLETON, SAMUEL CLAYTON & CADWALLADER SLAUGHTER, Gent. late Vestry Men of Parish of St. Marks in County of Culpeper of one part and WILLIAM BRADLEY of said County of other part WHEREAS by an Act of Assembly passed in the year 1769 intitled "an Act to empower the Vestry of St. Marks Parish in County of Culpeper to sell the GLEBE of said Parish and to lay out the money in purchasing a more convenient GLEBE," it is Enacted that the said GLEBE LAND with the appurtenances be vested in the present Vestry of said Parish for the time being in Trust, Nevertheless that the said Vestry or the greater part of them all shall by Deed of Bargain & Sale sell and Convey the said GLEBE with the appurtenances for the best price that can be got for the same to any person who shall be willing to purchase the same, to hold to such purchaser their heirs and Whereas at a Vestry held for said Parish the 4th day of June 1770 when the above Vestrymen were present with JOHN THOMPSON Rector & WILLIAM GREEN, BENJAMIN ROBERTS, GOODRICH LIGHTFOOT and WILLIAM WILLIAMS Gent. Vestrymen who are since dead the said GLEBE and appurtenances were sold to SAMUEL HENING for the sum of One hundred & ninety nine pounds which was the best price that could be had for the same, and SAMUEL HENING afterwards sold his title to the same to WILLIAM THOMPSON who has since sold the same to WILLIAM BRADLEY, party hereto, Nevertheless a Conveyance thereof from the said Vestry nor any of them to an person has never been made NOW THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH that the said (the Vestrymen named at the beginning of this entry) wheare the only Survivors of the then Vestry by virtue of the power to them given by said recited Act of Assembly and for sum of One hundred & ninety pounds current money to them in hand paid for the purposes aforesaid by these presents do bargain & sell unto WILLIAM BRADLEY his heirs all that tract of land sold by JOHN ASHLY to the Churchwardens of said Parish lying in the Great Fork of RAPPHANNOCK RIVER and bounded Begining at three white Oaks Corner to WILLIAM SMITH in the dividing line Between JOHN QUARLES & JOHN ASHLY, thence with the Dividing Line North forty degrees East One hundred & ninety four poles to a red and white Oak and Pine tree in a line of COLO. CARTERs, thence with CARTERs line North forty five degrees West one hundred and ten poles to a Gum, another corner of CARTERs, thence South seventy five degrees West One hundred & thirty poles to two white Oaks and a red Oak in said CARTERs line, thence South twenty five degrees West One hundred and fifty poles to three white Oaks in a line of a Patent granted to the aforesaid QUARLES & ASHLEY, thence South sixty nine degrees East one hundred and fifty poles to the begining, containing two hundred and fifteen acres, Together with all appurtenances thereunto To have and to hold the said land and premises unto WILLIAM BRADLEY his heirs In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands & Seals the day and year mentioned in this writing

      MEMORANDUM between the parties to the within Deed of Conveyance.
      It is further covenanted and agreed the said Colo. ROBERT GREEN is to remain possessed of the land where the bodies of his Father and Relations lays buried on the last mentioned tract to amount half an acre to be laid of at right angles in what manner he chuses which half acre of land said Colo. ROBERT GREEN reserves to himself and his heirs forever; Together with free and full liberty to pass and repass there thro: the within (or foregoing) demised premises at all times whatever it may suit them or any of them without hindrance or molestation from him the said JOHN STRODE his heirs and that all the right property and use of said BURYING GROUND is hereby relinquished and confirmed by me, JOHN STRODE, to him the said Colo. ROBERT GREEN and his heirs, to their own properl use and behoof in as full ample a maner as if the within (or foregoing) Conveyance had never been except only that the said Colo. ROBERT GREEN nor his heirs shall not sell convey the said half acre of land or their right therein to any other persons but reserve it for the use of a BURYING GROUND for the Family Relations and Desedants to which covenant and agreement both parties consent and desire it may bear the same and validity as if included within the body of the foregoing Deed that it might be admitted and entered on Record as such, In Witness whereof the parties have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the day and year first above written Signed Sealed & acknowledged in the presence of us

George a lad sixteen years old last November and Moll, twelve years old last October, in consideration of the sum of One hundred pounds lawful money of the State aforesaid to me in hand paid, And for the safe & peaceable possession of the aforesaid Negroes to him the aforesaid SAMUEL BALL GREEN his heirs I do hereby bind myself my heirs in the penal sum of Two hundred pounds lawfull money firmly by these presents; Witness my hand this fifteenth day of May in year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & eighty nine
