      Children. Benet Phillips b Sept 8, 1734, Jane Phillips 12, 1736, Joseph Phillips b May 9 1738,William Phillipsb December 5, 1740, John Phillips b May 28, 1742, Mary Ann Phillips b February 2, 1748
Elizabeth Phillips b November 9, 1751, Abram Phillips b September 13, 1754 this information comes from the Phillips Bible in which was in the hands of Joseph Phillips father of children listed. The Bible was printed in England in 1751.
If were to guess the age of Joseph Phillips, Sr. saying that he was 25 years old when married his birth year would have been about 1708.
Headrights 1735 in Orange County, Virginia Joseph Phillips is listed, also on the Taxes for 1734-1739. But the first he shows up is in March 3, 1734 ( The Diary of Robert Rose source) as overseer for George Braxton in Orange County, Virginia. So he was in Orange County, Virginia March 1734 his son Benet Phillips must have been born in Orange County as written in Phillips Family Bible September 8, 1734.
Since Joseph Phillips married Mary on December 1, 1733 and was listed in Headrights in which he recd. 50 acres and would have recd. 50 acres for his wife then you can be sure that he would have filed for his wife too. So the point is Mary was already in Orange County, Virginia when Joseph Phillips arrived from England. Also had Joseph and Mary Phillips had anymore children after last child born Abram Phillips September 13, 1754 there age would have been a problem
