      In the name of God amen I ANN DAVIS of the Parish of Southfarnham and County of Essex being sick and weak but of sound and perfect sense and memory thanks be to almighty God do make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament revoking all other Wills by me made,
      Imprimis I give unto my son WM. UPSHAW DAVIS the Negro boy named ISAAC, and the Negro woman named FRANK and her future increase I lend unto my Daughter SARAH ELLOT and her husband SAMUEL ELLOT during their natural lives and after their decease I give unto my Grand Daughter ELIZA. ELLOT & the child my said Daughter now goos with to be equally divided between them together with what other Estate I have and if either of my said Grand Children should die without lawfull heir then the other to have all and I constitute and appoint my loving son WILLIAM UPSHAW DAVIS to be my Executor to this my last Will and Testament as witness my hand and seal this 30th day of November 1749.       Signed Sealed and acknowledged by ANN DAVIS this to be her last Will and Testament in presence of us W. RENNOLDS, THOS. HIPKINS
      At a Court continued and held for Essex County at Tappa. on the 20th day of March Anno Dom 1750. This Will was presented in Court by SAML. ELLITS [and WM. UPSHAW DAVIS the Executor herein named refused to take the Executorship upon him] which being proved by the oaths of the witnesses hereto the same is admitted to record and on the motion of the said SAMUEL ELLITS & his performing what the Law in such cases required Letters of Admon. is therefore granted him with the Will annexed in due form &c.
