      THIS INDENTURE made the 20th day of May 1734 Between JOHN TURBITT of the County of SPOTSILVANIA & Parish of St. Marks of one part and THOMAS BURKE of the County of Essex and Parish of Southfarnham of other part Witnesseth that the sd John Turbitt for sum of Six hundred pounds of good Tobacco doth grant unto the said Thomas Burke his heires forever all the right and Estate whatsoever which is or shall hereafter become due unto the sd John Turbit or his heires to a certain divident of land in the County of Essex and parish of Southfarnham containing Fifty acres ye sd land being part of a tract formerly granted to JOHN SOAPER of the County of RAPPAHANNOCK Taylor and Convey'd by sd Soaper to HUGH MEADE by Deed

      THIS INDENTURE made the 17th day of June 1735 Between PATRICK BOLEN and KATHERINE his Wife and JOHN TURBETT of the County of SPOTSYLVANIA of the one part and THOMAS BURKE of the County of Essex and Parish of Southfarnham of other part Witnesseth that sd Patrick Bolen and Katherine his Wife and John Turbett for sum of Six hundred pounds of Tobo and Fight pounds Cash to them paid by the sd Thomas Burke have given unto the sd Thomas Burke and to his heirs forever all the Right and Estate which is or shall hereafter become due to them the sd Patrick Bolen and Katherine his Wife & John Turbett of and to a parcell of land in the County of Essex and Parish of Southfarnham containing One hundred and fifty acres the sd land being part of a tract of Three hundred acres purchased by RICHARD KEMPE and ELIANER his Wife as by their Deed dated the 10th July 1703 appeareth and conveyed by Richard Kemp and Elianer his Wife to the aforesd Katherine as by the sd Kemps Deed dated June ye 5th 1705 doth appear formerly granted by Pattent to JOHN GREGORY and HUGH MEADS dated the forth of October 1676 and by JOHN SOAPER to HUGH MEADS by the sd Soapers Deed dated the sixth day of April 1667 and bounded according to the several courses and lines of markit trees in the aforesd Pattent and Soapers Deed ... .

      Patrick- Bolen. Katherine Bolen and John TALBOT (the sd Katherine being first privily examined by BENJA. WILSON Gent) acknowledged this Indenture with the Livery and Seizin thereon endorsed to be their act and deed which on their motion is recorded.
