      THIS INDENTURE made the fifteenth day of October one thousand seven hundyed and Eighty seven Between ELISHA ARNOLD & SUSANNA his Wife of County of ORANGE of one part and WILLIAM WRIGHT of County of Culpeper & BRUMFIELD Parish of other part: Witnesseth that ELISHA ARNOLD and SUSANNA his Wife in consideration of the sum of Fifteen pounds Gold and Silver to them in hand paid by WILLIAM WRIGHT, by these presents doth bargain and sell unto WILLIAM WRIGHT his heirs one certain parcel of land containing Four hundred acres lying in Culpeper County and BRUMFIELD Parish lying on both sides of the North Fork of the RUSH RIVER a Branch of RAPPAHANNOCK, the same being four hundred acres of land granted to PHILIP JACOBS Gent. by the Right Honourable THOMAS LORD FAIRFAX, Proprietor of the Northern Neck of Virginia by Deed from the Proprietors Office as by said Deed will more fully appear; and by said (blank) Gent. the said Four hundred acres of land is bounded Begining at a Poplar tree, corner to JACOB PRIMS, thence with his line North forty West three hundred & forty eight pole to a red Oak, thence along EDGMONs line South forty seven degrees West one hundred & eighty six poles thence North thirty six West ninety five poles along IRIONs line to two white Oaks, thence North sixty seven poles to an Oak thence East one hundred & fifty poles to two white Oaks, thence North sixty six East two hundred and eighty poles to a Chesnut Oak and Chesnut tree on the side of the PEAKED MOUNTAIN, from thence to the begining; with all inclosures water courses profits and emoluments to the same belonging to him said WRIGHT his heirs. We ELISHA ARNOLD and SUSANNA his Wife for the true performance of the above mentioned land we bind ourselves our heirs firmly and severally we put our hands and seals the day and date above written Signed Sealed & Delivered in the presence of

      This Indenture of Feeoffment from ELISHA ARNOLD and SUSANNA his Wife to WILLIAM WRIGHT together with a memorandum and receipt thereon endorsed was proved by the Oaths of HENRY WOOD, SHARSHALL JORDAN and BENJAMIN ELKIN JR., witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded; previous to which the said SUSANNA was first privily examined as the Law directs

      THIS INDENTURE made the 18th day of July in the year of our Lord one thou sand seven hundred and ninety one Between ELISHA YEAGER & BETSY his Wife of Parish of Bromfield & County of Culpeper of one part and WILLIAM WRIGHT, JOHN WRIGHT & WINFIELD 'WRIGHT of County and Parish aforesaid of other part; Wit-nesseth that ELISHA YEAGER and BETSY his Wife in consideration of the sum of Fifty two pounds Ten shillings of good & lawful money of Virginia to said ELISHA YEAGER in hand paid, by these presents doth bargain sell & confirm unto WILLIAM WRIGHT, JOHN WRIGHT & WINFIELD WRIGHT their heirs all that tract of land containing by estimation One hundred acres being in the Parish and County aforesaid and bounded; Begining at three Pines corner in MEDLEYS Line and runing thence South sixty two degrees East one hundred and eighty seven poles to two Pines and a red Oak, thence North seven degrees East one hundred pole to two Pines in BROOKING's Line, thence along the said line North seventy degrees West one hundred and eighty seven poles to two white Oaks on the banks of GRYMES's RUN where CROSTHAITS ROAD crosses said Run, thence South seven degrees West seventy four pole to the begining, with all houses orchards profits and appurtenances to the same appertaining; To have and to hold the one hundred acres of land be the same more or less according to the bounds above specified unto WILLIAM WRIGHT, JOHN WRIGHT & WINFIELD WRIGHT their heirs and ELISHA YEAGER will warrant forever & defend the tract of land and premises unto WILLIAM WRIGHT, JOHN WRIGHT & WINFIELD WRIGHT their heirs free and clear of all manner of incum-brances; In Witness whereof the said ELISHA YEAGER has set his hand & seal the day and year first above written
