Wife Mary Macatee and dau, Agness Macatee., the plantation I now dwell on and after their decease to son Thomas Macatee.
Whereas I formerly made over to my son Thomas the plantation he now dwells on.
Grandson James Maccatee, son of William, my best coat.

Grandson Edmund Macatee, son of James, heifer and calf.
To son William Maccatee, 5 lbs
To wife Mary 1/3 of personal estate.

1744-1753 Charles County, Maryland Land Records; Liber Z#2 [TLC]; Page 27. At the request of Edmond Maggottee, the following lease was recorded on Mar 26, 1745.
Dec 25, 1743 from Benjamin Tasker of Annapolis, Esq, agent, Receiver General for the Proprietary of Maryland, to Edmund Maggottee of CC, planter, for and in consideration of the rents and covenants hereinafter mentioned, with the consent of Thomas Bladen, Esq, Governor of Maryland, the lease of a parcel of land in his Lordship's Manors of Panquiah, adjoining his dwelling plantation & the Old Womans Branch, which is called the Reconculingine, & bounded by Patrick Maggottee, containing 114 acres, by cert. dated Sep 10, 1743. This lease is for the term of the natural lives of George Clements, son of Francis & Eliza. Clements, Bennet Neal & Edward Neal, sons of Edward & Martha Neal. The yearly rent is 11 shillings 4 pence money of GB. Edmond Maggottee may not assign any part of the premises without the licence of the Proprietary; each licence will cost Maggottee 2 £5 shillings & 4 pence ster money of GB.
