      Wornom, Thomas, of St. Stephen's Parish
      W. W. 14 September 1789---w. P. 14 December 1789
      I divide my plantation between my two sons Samuel, and William begining the dividing line at a chestnut tree standing about fifty or sixty yards off the Creek shore between my old peach orchard and where Mr. Smither had wood cut to boil salt, thence west northwest up the gully to the head, thence westward to a Hickory tree, a line tree between my land and William Wornom's.
      Son Samuel Wornom-to have the lower part of my land whereon I now live, to him and his heirs lawfully begotten of his body.
      Son William Wornom-the upper part of my land whereon Joseph Dudley now lives, to him and his heirs lawfully begotten of his body.
      My sons not to sell the land, except to each other.
      If both my sons should die without heir, the land shall go to William Wornom, son of Thomas Wornom, and if he should die to go to his brother John Wornom.
      Brother William Wornom shall have the bringing up of my two sons, and the manageing of their estate.
      Rest of my estate to be equally divided between my two sons.
      Friends Edward Downing, Thomas Betts, and my brother William Wornom, executors.

      Wornom, Thomas, of Saint Stephens Parish
      W. W. 10 October 1765---W.P. 14 March 1768
      Son John Wornom-part of the land whereon I now live during his natural life and no longer, and at his death to his son supposed to be named Thomas, and if my grandson supposed to be named Thomas, should die without an heir lawfully begotten of his body the land then to go to the next male heir of my son John Wornom, and for want of such male heirs the land shall be my son Thomas Wornorn's and his heirs, the land hereafter bequeathed to my son Thomas Wornom being part of the land I purchased of Charles Betts dec'd, executors, and that part shall belong to my son William Wornom and his heirs in case my son Thomas Wornom shall survive my said son John Wornom's male heirs. This land is bounded as follows to wit:-Beginning at the head of Limekill Creek, and running northeastward to a chestnut tree standing near the head of a Branch where I drew water to make bricks, thence northly along a line dividing this from the land which I purchased of Charles Betts dec'd., thence northly along the said line which formerly divided this land where I now live and the land which I purchased of said Bette, to an old oak standing on the north side of the Church path,- thence running eastward to a Chesnut tree standing near the head or about thirty or forty yeards off of a gulley which leads to a marsh called Nanceys Marsh, thence to the Mill Creek and down the said Mill Creek to Great Wiccomoco River, and up said river to Limekill Creek to the head first mentioned.
      In case my daughter Leanner Gill shall be destitute of a home by means of her husband Ellis Gill's misuseing of her, she to have the above tract during her naturall life or widowhood incase her said husband Ellis Gill should decease without her having a home.
      To son Thomas Wornom-the land belonging to me from the place called Nancys Marsh in the line of the land given to my son John Wornom, and along said line to an oak standing on the northside of the Church Path, thence westerly along said. Church Path to a post in the line of John Downings land, along said Downing land to a post a corner to the land I purchased of Charles Betts dec'd, executors; thence easterly to a Branch
      which runs into Gills Mill Pond, thence down Branch, Mill Pond, and Creek to beginning.
      Son William Wornom-all remaining part of my land not before given, being part of land formerly Charles Betts whereon my son John Wornom now lives, beginning at the head of Limekill Creek, running northerly along the line mentioned to my son John, to a old oak standing on the northside of the Church Path, thence westward along said path to divide this land from the land given to my son Thomas Wornom, to a part in the line of
      the land of John Downing, along Downing line southward to a small creek to the River, and down said River to the creek called Limekill Creek, and up said creek to the head.
      In case my son Thomas Wornom should decease without heir, that the land given him to be divided between my sons John and William Wornom, and to be divided where the line did run between the land I purchased of Betts executors and my former land, and each son to have the part that formerly did belong to the part given them.
      In case my son William Wornom should die without heir or under age, his land to go to my son John Wornom, and to his son supposed to be named Thomas in same manner and form as I have before given the land whereon I now live to my son John Wornom during his naturall life, remainder of my estate I have given to my son William Wornom as a legacy to return at his death if under age or without heir to my son Thomas Wornom.
      Son Thomas Wornom-negro boy Shadrick, and as much stock and household furniture as well make him equal with the stock and household furniture I have sometime ago given to my son John Wornom, and my daughter Leanner Gill.
      Son William Wornom-negro girl Letty and her future increase, and seven pounds current money to make his land equal with my other sons land, and an equal part of my stock and household furniture as I have given my son John Wornom, and daughter Leanner Gill.
      Daughter Leanner Gill-use of negro girl Aggatha and her future increase, one red plush side saddle, and the stock and household furniture I have lent her sometime ago, during her natural life and at her death to be equally divided among her children, and for want of such heirs to return to my estate and to be equally divided between the rest of my children.
      Wife Winefred Wornom, shall have use of my land, slaves, stock, and household goods during her widowhood, and my three sons John, Thomas, and William, shall not have any right or title to the lands given them without her consent.
      Grandchildren Molley Wornom, and Betty Gill-the sum of thirty shillings current money to be paid them out of my moveable estate at my wifes death.
      Sons Thomas and William Wornom, shall be schooled out of the profits of my estate, and by my wife Winefred Wornom.
      Rest of my estate after wifes widowhood or death, to be equally divided between all my surviving children male and female. Wife, and son John Wornom, executors.
