Ashburne, Thomas

Son William Ashburne-the plantation where my mother now lives, If he should die without lawfull issue the land to fall to my son George Ashburne and his heirs.
Son Thomas Ashburne-the plantation where I now live together with the land I bought of Moses Oldham. I mean that the lands aforesaid shall be divided between my two sons aforesaid to wit.
Beginning at a black gum at the head of a small branch that makes out of Betty's branch and running to an old tan [xxx] at the edge of the [xxx].
Each of my children to have two hundred pounds of tobacco to be laid out in schooling except my son William Ashburne and I give him one hundred pounds of tobacco.
I lend molato boy that I now have called John Taper to my wife.

John Ashburn shall have Stephen Day, one bed and furniture, one chest, one safe, and one iron pot.
Leanna Ashburn, Hannah Ashburn, and Elizabeth Ashburn, shall have all my wearing cloths.
If John Ashburn should move out of these parts or die without heir lawfully begotten of his body, the said Stephen Day shall fall to John Christopher.
Thomas Ashburn shall have one cow.
William Ashburn shall have the rest of my estate.
