Farned, James, of St. Stephen's Parish
W. W. 10 December 1748---W. P. 13 February 1748
Son James Farnid-land I now live on, two negroes Will and Glascoe, case of pistols and holsters, and one gun. If he should die with out an heir lawfully begotten of his body, then. the land to fall
to my daughter Betty Farnid.
Son Edwin Farnid-the land in Prince William County, three negroes Breache, Murrear, and Lucy, one gun, and one sword. If he should die without an heir lawfully begotten of his body, then the land and negroes to fall to my daughter Rebeckah Farnid.
The three negroes-to be cloathed in bed cloaths and back cloaths and tolls to goe to work with of my dwelling plantation, by the first day of October,
Daughter Betty Farnid-two negroes Sam and Newmon, and one feather bed and furniture(her choice). Her negroes to be maintained by my plantation until they are able
To Son James Farnid-three feather beds and furniture, two good beds and ono sorry one.
Son Edwin Farnid-two good feather beds and furniture.
Daughter Rebeckah Farnid-two negroes Judah and Jack and one feather bed and furniture.
I leave my lodging room to my two daughters till they marry
Rest of my estate to be equally divided between my children. Estate to be divided by John Foushee, James Booth, Captain William Taite9 and. Richard Booth, or any three of them.
If I should give anything away on my death bed, it should stand as good as if it was willed
