      AGREEABLE to an Order of Culpeper Court bearing date October Court 1797 to us directed we the subscribers proceeded to settle Executorship of the Estate of JOHN BERRY decd with the Executors thereof, and find agreeable to the Will of the said deceased the Estate was sold the 16th day of November 1797 to the amount of 35416 pounds 9/3 paper Currency on twelve months credit as statement of the accts. is hereunto annexed (amounts shown in paper currency and specie) ,. ( some entries) paid JOHN LEVILL, paid JOSEPH WOOD Sheriff for two years taxes; paid ALEXANDER STUARD on a judgment; paid JACOB BLANKENBAKER for whiskey; paid JOHN WALKER for advice (foregoing paid in paper money - following paid in specie) JOHN MITCHELL; paid JOB POPHAM, paid ADAM WAYLAND: paid WILLIAM C WILLIAMS
      The balance which appears here to be due to the Estate appears to us to have been paid by the Executors to the legatees agreeable to the Will. Certified by us this 20th day of November 1797, H. HILL, DANIEL BROWN, JOHN HENSHAW.
