      THIS INDENTURE made this Nineteenth day of May in the year of our Lord God according to the Computation of the Church of England 1724 Between JOHN CARDING of the County of Essex of one part & ROBERT JONES of sd County Witnesseth that for sum of Five pounds Currant money to him paid the said John Carding hath granted unto sd Robert Jones his heirs & assigns the plantation & tract of land containing forty six acres being on the South side of Rappahannock River in the parish of St Anne & bounded beginning at a small white oak near the side of a Creek & runeth thence by ye line of Mr. COX s S:E by East to a branch side thence North East to a white oak on a point near the side of a great March facing Occupatia Creek thence to the Cheeseturkson Creek
