      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I JOHN STONE of the County of Rappahannock Gent. for the valuable consideration of Nine thousand pounds of Tobb: in hand paid pr Obligation do from me JOHN STONE my heires sell unto THOMAS GUNSTON of the sd County one WATER MILL with her appurtinances being on a Run called CHESSTMAN runing into RAPPA: CREEKE the sd THOMAS GUNSTON his heires To have and to hold the sd WATER MILL with all her profits for ever warranting the sd WATER MILL from the claime of me the sd JOHN STONE my heires or from any person pretending claime under me In Witness whereof I have sett my hand and seal this 4th of November 1685

Attorney in my name to acknowledge my thirds of a WATER MILL scituate upon CHESTUXEN RUN unto THOMAS GUNSTON his heires which I do freely and volluntarily As Witness my hand and seale the 4th of Novr: 1685

      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I THOMAS GUNSTON of the County of Rappa:, Planter, do ow and stand firmly indebted unto JOHN STONE of said County Gent. the full sum of Eighteen thousand pounds of good and merchantable Tobb: and Cask which payment I bind me my heires Witness my hand and seale this 4th day of November 1685
      The Condicion of this obligation is that if the above bound THOMAS GUNSTON his heires shall pay unto JOHN STONE his heires the sum of Four thousand this present yeare of sound merchantable Tobacco in cask and Five thousand of the like good Tobacco in cask at or before the last of November which shall be in the year 1686, then this Obligation to be void, further it is agreed on that if the said THOMAS GUNSTON shall happen to die before all the Tobacco shall be paid according to the sd condicon and his heires refuse to make good payment according to this obligation, then it is agreed on that the said JOHN STONE his heires may re enter on the WATER MILL lying and scituate on CHISTUXEN RUN notwithstanding any thing contayned in the convayance from JOHN STONE unto THOMAS GUNSTON to the contrary as if no Instrument of Wrighting had been made As Witness my hand and seale

JOHN STONE of the County of Rappa: do acquit and discharge THO: GUNSTON of the said County from all manner of bargain and contracts whatsoever concerning or relating to the MILL by me sold to the sd GUNSTONE and all other accounts excepting Five hundred pounds of Tobb: which he is to pay me the next year In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale this 3rd of 9ber 1686

      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I THOMAS GUNSTON of Rappa. do firmly and absolutely sett and make over unto Colo. JOHN STONE of the sd County a certain MILL commonly caled CHESTUXON MILL the which MILL I formerly bought of the sd Col. JOHN STONE and now in record in Rappa: County records, notwithstanding the Deed made to me from the sd Colo. STONE I do by these presents forever make over the said MILL with all appertenances whatsoever to the sd Colo. JOHN STONE forever hereby discharging all my right and interest to the sd MILL In Witness whereof I have sett my hand and seale this 3rd day of 9ber 1686
