      July Court 73 KNOW ALL MEN that I GEORGE MORIS of the County of NEW KENT have granted and set over unto DANIEL SULLIVANT all my right and interest of two hundred acres of land joyning to a parcel of land formerly taken up betweene me the Subscribed and JOHN LORD bounded as followeth beginning at Mr. PLEYs Corner Tree in the back line runing by marked trees We, So, We, to a white Oake and thence No for the Length parallel to the first and second line to the back line of the aforesaid devident to have and hold the said land withall proffitts whatsoever to him the said DANIEL SULLIVANT and his heirs or assigns forever without the molestation of any person whatsoever that shall lay claime to any part of the said two hundred acres of land and to acknowledge this sale at the charge of the said SULLIVANT in Court being at any time thereunto required. In Testimony have hereunto sett my hand this 5th day of July 1671

      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I DANIEL SULLIVANT for Two thousand pounds of Tobacco by me received in hand by bills doe assigne and sell from me my heirs or assigns forever unto JOHN MASTERS his heirs or assigns forever all my right and title of the within mentioned land by Conveyance with all appurtenances in as ample manner as it is within mentioned with generall warranty from all persons whatsoever as Witness my hand and seale this 13th of Januarie 1672

      BE IT KNOWN unto all men that wee GEORGE PLEY & ROBERT PLEY of County of Rappae: for a valuable consideracon of Two thousand fower hundred pounds of tobacco in hand received have sold unto DANIELL SWILLEVANT of the sd County Plantr One hundred acres of land where he now lives begining without the Cleare ground and soe to run down along the Swamp for the Length of it & for breath of it to run out right this hundred acres of land being part of Eight hundred acres of land wch wee the said PLEYs formerly bought of Mr, GEORGE MORRIS of the County of NEW KENT and farther by these presents wee the said GEORG PLEY & ROBERT PLEY doe warrant the sd land unto sd DANIELL SWILLEVANT his heires from all persons laying claime under us the sd SWELLIVANT being at the charges of the laying out of the sd hundred acres; In Testimony of the same wee have sett or; hands and Seals this 30th day of June 1674

      KNOW ALL MEN by these prsents that wee JOHN ROBERTS & MARY ROBERTS, the Relict of DANIELL SWELLIVANT of the County of Rappae: doe for us or; heires sett & to farme lett unto HENRY GERMAN his heirs of the said County the Plantation of DANIEL SWELLIVANT deced for him the said HENRY GERMAN to have and to hold & enjoy the sd Plantation wth all rights belonging from the day of the date hereof until Seaven yeares be expired and ended the sd HENRY GERMAN being hereby bound to keep the orchard farme in repaire (further know) that we JOHN ROBERTS & MARY ROBERTS are going out of this Countrey soe neither wee nor the Children of the abovesd SWELLIVANT returne to claime the abovesd land that then it shall be lawful! for the sd HENRY GERMAN his heires or assignes to enjoy the abovesd land wth all the rights & preveledges thereunto forever, but in case wee or the Children of the abovesd. SWELLIVANT returne that HENRY GERMAN his heires or assignes hereby bound to deliver unto the abovesd, after the expiration of the Seaven yeares abovesd peaceable possession to the partys abovesd. & that this or; mutual agreement, wee have sett or; hands & stales

      THIS INDENTURE made the 10th of October in ye yeare of or: Lord God 1702 Betweene JOHN MACKENNY of the Parish of South Farnham in the County of Essex, Planter, of the one part, and MARY ROBERTS and JOHN ROBERTS, her Son, of the same Pish County & Colony, Planters, of the other part, Witnesseth that the said JOHN MACKENNEY for Six hundred and fifty pounds of good sound Merchantable Tobo: to him paid doth sell unto the said MARY ROBERTS and JOHN ROBERTS, her Son, their heires assignes all that parcell of land or woodland ground conteyning Twenty acres being in ye aforesd. Parish County & Colony & upon the South side of Rappahannock River and bounded beginning a a markt. Gum at the mouth of South Swamp thence runing along the said line of PATRICK (?CAMMILES) to a corner white Oake standing upon ye maine Swamp of HOSKINES CREEKE, thence runing down the Swamp to the place where it first began, and all wayes waters Timber swamps & profitts to the said land belonging all which sd p:cell of land is part of a Devidend of Three hundred acres of land transford & conveyed by a Deed of Bargaine unto WILLIAM LINCH bearing date ye 28th day of 8br: 1687 and all the Estate, right of him ye sd JOHN MACKENNEY to the same, To have & to hold unto the said MARY ROBERTS and JOHN ROBERTS, her Son, their heires & assignes forever she paying ye Rents & p:formeing the services which shall hereafter grow due unto or: Sovgne: Lady ye Queene her heires & successors And the said JOHN MACKENNY for himselfe the p:misses doth promise at all times hereafter at the reasonble request & proper charges in ye Law of the sd MARY ROBERTS & JOHN ROBERTS, her Son, to acknowledge every such further acts for ye further & more perfect assureing & conveying of all ye granted p:misses unto ye sd MARY ROBERTS & JOHN ROBERTS, her Son, their heires forever In Witness whereof the p:ties have sett their hands & seales
