      THIS INDENTURE made the Seventh day of June 1710 Between JOHN CURTIS of Parish of Wicocomico in County of NORTHUMBERLAND Planter of one part and RALPH WORMELEY of Parish of Christ Church in County of Middx. Gent. Witnesseth that whereas said John Curtis only Surviveing Brother and next of kin unto ELIZABETH HAZELLWOOD deced Daughter and Heir of ABRAHAM MOON late.of ye County of LANCASTER deced made the claime of right unto the escheat of Fourteen hundred acres of land in County of Lancaster (now Middlesex) first granted unto the said Abraham Moon and THOMAS GRIFFIN by a certain Patent or Deed of Grant dated the 16th of September 1651 and supposed to be contained within the bounds of one certaine Patent or Deed of Grant for Seventeen hundred acres of land in Parish of Christ Church in the County of Middx first granted unto Abraham Moone deced by Patent dated the last day of March 1653, which said Seventeen hundred acres of land by virtue of an Inquisition taken on the 7th day of May 1697 before RICHD. JOHNSON Esqr. then Escheator for the aforesaid County of Middlesex was found to escheat unto his Majty. and was granted unto RALPH WORMELEY Esqr. deced Father unto the aforesaid Ralph Wormeley party to these presents by Patent dated the 15th of October 1698 as by said Patents remaining upon records of the Generall Court of this Dominion NOW KNOW YEE that I the said John Curtis for sum of one hundred and twenty pounds Steil, hath released unto Ralph Wormeley (in his full and peaceable possession being) and to his heires forever all the right claime and demand whatsoever which said John Curtis now hath in the before recited Patent for Fourteen hundred acres of land also all his right and demand which he now hath in the before recited Patent for Seventeen hundred acres of land . Escheated and granted as also all the right and demand which he the said John Curtis now hath or may have to any lands whatsoever in County of Middlesex now claymed by Ralph Wormeley
