      Indenture 9 Dec 1767 between THOMAS BEALE, County of Richmond, Gentl., RICHARD EDWARDS, County of Lancaster, Gentl., and ANN, his wife, and SUSANNA BEALE, County of Richmond, Spinster of the one part, and WILLIAM BEALE, County of Richmond, Gentl., of other part. Whereas CHARLES BEALE late of Richmond County, Gent., deceased by his Last Will and Testament dated 9 Dec 1767, after several bequests devised rest of estate .. should in case of his sons death without issue, be divided amongst his five God children to wit the said Thomas Beale, Ann Edwards, Susanna Beale, Charles Beale, the son of Taverner Beale, and John Eustace Beale, the son of John Beale, which last two are Infants under the age of 21 years and whereas .. Charles Beale at time of his Death .. possessed 800 acres .. said tract divided amongst the whole of the legatees will be of little value .. a suit in chancery was brought by some of the legatees against the rest in the County Court of Orange to compell a sale of the same ..
