494-495. Sarah Stallings recorded deed of gift 10 December 1770. I Isaac Stallings ofFrederick
County, in consideration of the natural love and affection which I have and bear unto my several
children, hereafter mentioned, and also for 5 shillings, sell and confirm by these presents to the said Sarah Stallings, my youngest daughter, the two following Negroes: a girl named Jane about 7 years
old and a Negro boy named James aged about 4 years, to be immediately delivered to her; and as to
the rest of my estate ofwhich I may be possessed at the time of my death, I give and confirm unto
my several following children, to wit: Susannah, Mary, Elizabeth, Isaac, Samuel, Griffin, Jacob, Ann,
and the above mentioned Sarah, and to my grand daughter Susannah Tucker after the death of her
mother Martha Tucker. Signed Isaac Stallings, before J. Hepburn, William Willet Senr. On 30
November 1770, Isaac Stallings party to the above deed of gift, acknowledged his personal estate
therein mentioned to be the right and title ofhis several children. Signed before J. Hepburn.
