- === Research Notes from James Woodall
The actual will, now available on ancestry.com, mentions both nephew John Clarvo, Jr. whom she bequeaths only a cow. Later she mentions nephew John Clarvo, Senr whom she give all lands my negroes personal estate after legacies paid and makes said John Clarvo, Senr her executor.
Ancestry.com under the Maryland, Wills and Probate Records, 1604-1878, Martha Lanham
She mistakenly labels a nephew John Clarvo Junor (properly) and later again uses nephew in referring to John Senr (mistakenly) when she should have said brother John Clarvo, Senr giving him majority of estate and making executor
