      1752-1757 Prince George's County, Maryland Land Records Liber NN [Abstract by Mike Marshall]; Page 217. At the request of Abraham Ford the following Lease was recorded January 19, 1754
      Indenture made September 8, 1753; Mrs. Lucy Brooke, widow of Thomas Brooke, Esq., in consideration of 10 pounds sterling paid by Abraham Wood, innholder, as also for inconsideration of ye convenants hereafter mentioned has demised and farm let Lot Number 29 in the town of Nottingham that lays between the lots of Richard Lee, Esq and Mr. Thomas Contee for and during the natural life of Abraham Wood, Ann Wood his wife and Sackeveral Wood his son paying yearly the rent of one ear of Indian corn at the feast of nativity of our blessed Lord and Savior and will with all possible speed build a dwelling house 24ft long and 20ft wide with a shed, as also a brick chimney, a cellar, kitchen underneath the house, pail in garden, a stable and keep the whole in good repair and after the the three lives yield up into the hands and possession of the said Lucy Brooke.       I Abraham Wood, tailor in consideration of 35 pounds sterling with a hat a year's interest paid by Isaac Wood, planter has sold 4 feather beds and furniture, 4 sorees and 4 cyder casks, 3 chests and the mare I had of Doctor Hamelton, 4 tables, my saddle, 1 sow and pigs, 4 pots and a frying pan, a pair of cart wheels, 12 cupboard, 1 safe, 1 cosat, a powdering tub and washing tub, 1 looking glass, 1 china bowl, 4 bedsteads and cords, an iron spit and water pail, 10 old chairs. Given under my hand and seal this July 24, 1755, Abraham Wood in the presence of Sackeveral Wood, George Fox and acknowledged before Thomas Hodgkin

      Indenture made June 28, 1758; Between Thomas Baden (Attorney in fact for Sacheverell of the City of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) and John Brightwell of PGCo. Whereas Sacheverell of the City of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has appointed Thomas Baden has attorney to deliver and acknowledge a deed of all his right to a tract called "Wood's Farm" lying near Nottingham to John Brightwell, said Power of Attorney recorded in Liber F folio 449. Now this indenture witnesseth that Thomas Baden, in consideration of 150 pounds current money paid by John Brightwell has sold all that parcel of land called "Wood's Farm" containing 345 acres.
