      Prince George's County, Maryland Land Records 1752-1757; Liber NN {Abstract by Mike Marshall}; Page 217. At the request of Abraham Ford the following Lease was recorded January 19, 1754
      Indenture made September 8, 1753; Mrs. Lucy Brooke, widow of Thomas Brooke, Esq., in consideration of 10 pounds sterling paid by Abraham Wood, innholder, as also for inconsideration of ye convenants hereafter mentioned has demised and farm let Lot Number 29 in the town of Nottingham that lays between the lots of Richard Lee, Esq and Mr. Thomas Contee for and during the natural life of Abraham Wood, Ann Wood his wife and Sackeveral Wood his son paying yearly the rent of one ear of Indian corn at the feast of nativity of our blessed Lord and Savior and will with all possible speed build a dwelling house 24ft long and 20ft wide with a shed, as also a brick chimney, a cellar, kitchen underneath the house, pail in garden, a stable and keep the whole in good repair and after the the three lives yield up into the hands and possession of the said Lucy Brooke. Signed Lucy Brooke, Abraham Wood, in the presence of Richard Brooke, Isaac Brooke and acknowledged before Henry Truman, John Hawkins, Jr.
